We sold this guitar new a year ago last February and just took it back in trade. It is in fantastic and as new condition as it has been very well cared for over it’s brief life. It was kept in a pet and smoke free home studio environment and recorded with on only a few occasions, never gigged. No fret wear, dings, dents, or scratches anywhere and in totally minty condition overall. Everything is original with no mods or repairs.Our tech just set it up with a fresh set of strings and it plays like a dream with nice low action. Here I have a great item in a USA Made Fender Stratocaster Black Electric Guitar with TKL Hard Case. It is in excellent condition as it is accurately shown in the pictures that I have provided. Corona California Marked. Serial Number is Z3147663, which dates it to 2003-2004. Excellent barely used condition. It has a truss rod for neck adjustment. It has 22 frets and a neck that extends about 22 1/2″ from the body. Any questions please feel free to ask.Please keep in mind I am 1 person. Hey There.How are ya? Looking at guitars on eBay? Yeah. I do that. A lot. Daily actually. I’m kind of obsessed. Especially with Japanese made ones from the 60s and Fender Offsets. Oh Dude. They’re awesome. Yeah, totally. First, they’re really well made. They feel solid. Parts are top notch. Reasonably easy to set up. The coolest part? They LOOK AMAZING. Back to the parts thing. Look at the color of the wood used on the neck. Now look at how it plays off the Daphne Blue of the body. That tiny little detail is just awesome sauce. Every time I pick up this guitar I appreciate that detail. It just makes me feel good. You know Mexican made Fenders from the past 15 years. You know that bleh feeling you get when you pick one up? That feeling of disappointment? Its because it just looks off. The colors don’t play well. The wood looks out of place. It’s a shame. Not on this puppy. FENDER GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME.So how does it sound? Man, I’m so not good at describing these things in common guitar magazine terms. I’d say, great. I’m partial to guitars that have a crispness. I like hearing the pick attacks. I like when amps are just pushed to the point of breaking up. I also like to strum fast 16th notes with lots of dynamics. All of my songs have builds. I also like a clear and present low end. NO FARTING. This guitar fit my needs. You can hear it for yourself. I made of video demoing this exact guitar. And I overlaid a fair amount of guitar porn shots in there. Lots of smooth closeups n stuff.Here’s the video:

How’s the finish? Pretty good. Not flawless. Has dings and dents and one pink spot on the underside. Oh and some buckle rash. Nothing you can see unless you get up close. But I took pictures of every single blem. Examine them below. The finish in the guitar is pretty flexible. Most bumps and bruises just flex into the body rather than crack and flake like other guitars. This is like vertical stripes on a plump girl. They naturally hide any problem areas. Setup, intonation, tremolo/vibrato .. It’s set up with .10s I think. Intonation is fine.. No major buzzing. Action is at a low medium. Trem is set up with a little extra tension. I don’t have the bar for it (you can find these on eBay for less than $8 shipped). I never was much of a whammy type. Some dudes set these up as hard tails by just putting 2 dowels in the cavity. This particular guitar has had a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker installed in the bridge which is a major improvement over the stock Fender humbuckers. The guitar is in excellent condition, although, as with all black guitars there are several surface scratches that are nearly impossible to photograph. The frets are clean, plenty of life left on them. The only major imperfection is a scratch on the back of the guitar, which is clearly visible in the photos. The guitar has just been professionally set up with .010 gauge D’Addario Strings and is ready to play. The guitar will be professionally packed and shipped within 2 days of payment received. Up for auction is a Guitar that is hardly ever let go by it’s owners and rarely you ever see them in ebay.I bought this “Fender Telecaster Special” Back in Spring of 1996 in HollyWood Guitar Center.-All parts are ORIGINAL as installed by fender & in perfect working order…..The only things changed through the years, are the Strings and Nut. (I had the original nut re-sized for 12′s and later changed to Graphite for 9′s). -Frets are in great shape and clean (Re-conditioned last year). -There are some aging affect on the tuners and Strap buttons…I have left them as is…I kinda like it this way since this Guitar is already in or close to “VINTAGE” category at age of 17.-Painted in beautiful Translucent Crimson Red, you can see the wood grain on the front side and painted in opaque Red on the sides and back.
-There are One, Half inch long Ding on the edge near the rear Strap button (See the Picture) and one more Pea size ding (same area). 2003 MIM Fender Classic Series ‘50s Reissue Telecaster in near mint condition. Guitar looks almost new with no obvious flaws or fret playwear and only extremely small pick marks on the pickguard. I believe the color is desert sand which is a discontinued color. The guitar features an ash body, C-shaped neck, vintage Tele pickups, vintage-style machine heads, and a 3-saddle string-thru-body bridge. The Classic Series Telecasters are known for the quality ash body and superb necks.Stock condition except the Wilkinson brass compensated saddle set and an upgraded bridge pickup. The bridge pickup has flat poles and white string along with vintage cloth (black and white) wire and copper base plate. It measures 7.56 kohms on my meter. Not sure of the manufacturer or model but it sounds fantastic. The stock saddles and bridge pickup are not included.
