1964 Vintage Fender Jaguar

1964 Vintage Fender JaguarOlympic WhiteSerial #L25149This original 1964 Jaguar is in overall very good to excellent condition. The guitar is all original with the exception of the body, which has been re-finished in Nitrocellulose Lacquer by one of the top guitar restoration shops in the US. Someone had painted (white) over the original finish rather crudely[with a brush]. Tried to remove that finish, but couldn’t be done, so had to do a body refinish. The neck and headstock finish are all original and in excellent shape, as are the electronics and fittings. Reproduction Kluson tuners have been installed but the original tuners are included (see picture). Neck shows virtually no wear. Comes with original blonde Tolex case which shows a fair amount of wear. Same owner last 30 years. Topped off by a black and chrome color scheme, this Jaguar is sure to impress. In the 1990s the popularity of the Jaguar & Jazzmaster exploded when they saw heavy use by various alternative rock and grunge bands such as Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Placebo, Bush, My Bloody Valentine, The Flaming Lips, Stereolab, Pixies, and Spacemen 3.One of the reasons the Jaguar became so immensely popular among indie rock artists is because they are one of the few solid body tailed bridge guitars produced by a major manufacturer. This is a 1966 Fender Jaguar in good conditioon. She needs some work. i recived her as payment for some money that was owed to me.i was going to fix her but don’t have time anymore.the frets need to be reinstaled and the purel dots or just replace the neck for about 130$ on here. it needs a realy good home. For sale is my 2008 model Fender Jaguar HH Special. This guitar is a really nice player and has a great look to it.  It is 100% ready to play mechanically & electronically. Neck is true & frets bars & fingerboard show little to no wear.  This guitar is what I call…’clean’!
This Fender is Made in Japan (MIJ).  Lots of quality here! 
The guitar is in awesome condition with only a few minor marks. See picture with green guitar pick.  The tip of the pick is pointing to the most noticable mark.  The guitar is very clean.  No pucks, dents, or the like.  Please ask questions if you have any concern(s) about any aspect of the condition of the axe. 
This Jaguar has been in a clean non-smoking environment. I have never gigged with it.  Used only at home. Comes with original Fender Jaguar padded gigbag. Also, in great condition.  No rips or tears. 
There is ‘lots’ of info online about this Fender.  To keep this description short, please look there for specifications of this model Jaguar.  I spoke to a Fender representative the other day and he forwarded the specs to me.  If you request, I will email them to you.

Fender Jaguar CIJ AMAZING neck! L@@K! w/ hsc NICE!

 This is an AMAZING 1996-7 Crafted in Japan (Ao serial number) Fender Jaguar.  Guitar is all original, Mustang bridge in picture is not, but will be switched out with the original bridge.  Guitar is the Old Candy Apple Red color and is in excellent shape.  There is one small ding near the lower pickup selector switches and some minor scratches on the back of the guitar.  The scratches don’t show up in pictures, so I can’t show them.  What is great about this guitar is the neck.  It’s one of the BEST necks I’ve seen on a Jaguar, even better than on the one I’m keeping!  There is virtually NO wear on the back of the neck and minimal wear on the fretboard.  This guitar has been used, but not much, and it was NOT abused.  Comes with a TKL hard case, which has some duct tape on it, but it functions very well.  I decided to sell this Jaguar because I don’t need 2 of them.  If you’ve never owned a Jaguar, they’re great guitars with a shorter scale neck.  Kurt Cobain loved this guitar as well as the Mustang.  He combined the ideas of both on the Jag-Stang that was released around his death.  This is the main surf-axe as well.  This guitar is a GREAT work of art and deserves to go to a good home.  … Click for more info

I’ve decided to sell my Fender Jaguar. Not certain of the year but I’ve had it for 5 years and I purchased it used. I would guess it’s less than 10 years old. The trem bar is included even though it’s not pictured. I would describe this guitar as being in very good shape. As shown in picture six there is light buckle rash that was present when I purchased the guitar. The previous owner had the guitar professionally set up and even though that’s been a few years it really doesn’t seem to need it at the moment. Perhaps due to light usage by myself, it’s been a “stay at home guitar”.There is no case, and it’s available to the lower 48 states only. If you have any specific questions
