Fender Jazzmaster black plus case VG+

UPDATED to include manufacturing info –This is the American Vintage series, the serial number starts with a V followed by 6 numbers.  The guitar itself doesn’t say “Made In…” anywhere on it so I did research based on the serial number and a Fender board.Up for bid is a beautiful Fender Jazzmaster, black body with a tortoise shell pickguard. I’ve had this for almost 7 years but have not played it that much. There are a few scratches on the back, from a belt buckle I suppose (I am attempting to clean it), and there are a couple of small nicks but the guitar itself is in overall great condition. I can send more photos if you like. The case is in fantastic condition and everything is still included, including a set of strings and a cleaner. See the photos.  I didn’t want to get rid of this one but times are tough… The original strings are on it and I never did any adjustments to the action or other settings, so the action is very low.  Again, everything this guitar came with is still with it.I put the shipping at $50; the last time I sold guitars here I put it much lower and ended up screwing myself a little, so I’m putting it at %50 but if I can get it to you cheaper I will refund the extra money.If you have any other questions, please ask. I prefer PayPal but any form of payment is OK (domestic, see below for overseas). 1994 Fender Jazzmaster 1966 Model Reissue – Japan

Up for auction is a beautiful 1994 Fender Jazzmaster. Manufactured in Japan. This is a 1966 model reissue. Nice straight neck, rosewood fingerboard with low action. Original Fender 60′s style tuners. All electronics and switches work exactly as they should. Fully shielded pickguard and also the inside of the pickup cavity (see pics). Single coil pickups. All hardware is chrome and is in perfect condition. No cracks, chips or surprises. This Fender has that awesome twang but then can be switched to get a nice fat blues or jazz tone. Surf tone?…just crank up the reverb and go. The tremolo works smooth and flawlessly. It comes with a new set of D’Addario .009 -.042 strings. The body was originally
blue or turquoise. When I removed the neck, you can see traces of the
original color. The previous owner had stripped it to the natural wood
and finished with a lacquer clearcoat. It looks awesome. Comes with tremolo bar. Overall a great sounding and looking Fender. Sorry, no case but comes with a very nice padded gig bag. Serial # L830XX dates it to 1965.
Butt of neck clearly reads “1 MAY 65 B” for May of 1965 production date.
Guitar has been extremely well taken care of with light use.
Guitar has recently had a professional refret. The nut was also replaced. The original nut is in good condition and will be included.
Additional vintage style string tree added.
I believe the neck to be “C” shaped… it is in excellent condition. Frets are perfect.
Includes original hard shell case in excellent condition.
Hardware is in near perfect condition.
Additional serial number etched under the lip of the tremolo system and is barely noticeable.
All electronics are original and sound huge.
Guitar is 100% functional and plays great.
Whammy/tremolo works flawlessly and the guitar stays in tune well.
Finish looks great with only some scattered rash, bumps, bruises, etc.
All notes sound clear.
Original whammy bar and bridge cover included.
In this condition with the rare sunburst/mint combination, this Pre-CBS Fender is highly collectible… not to mention an excellent player.
