Hey There.How are ya? Looking at guitars on eBay? Yeah. I do that. A lot. Daily actually. I’m kind of obsessed. Especially with Japanese made ones from the 60s and Fender Offsets. Oh Dude. They’re awesome. Yeah, totally. First, they’re really well made. They feel solid. Parts are top notch. Reasonably easy to set up. The coolest part? They LOOK AMAZING. Back to the parts thing. Look at the color of the wood used on the neck. Now look at how it plays off the Daphne Blue of the body. That tiny little detail is just awesome sauce. Every time I pick up this guitar I appreciate that detail. It just makes me feel good. You know Mexican made Fenders from the past 15 years. You know that bleh feeling you get when you pick one up? That feeling of disappointment? Its because it just looks off. The colors don’t play well. The wood looks out of place. It’s a shame. Not on this puppy. FENDER GOT IT RIGHT THIS TIME.So how does it sound? Man, I’m so not good at describing these things in common guitar magazine terms. I’d say, great. I’m partial to guitars that have a crispness. I like hearing the pick attacks. I like when amps are just pushed to the point of breaking up. I also like to strum fast 16th notes with lots of dynamics. All of my songs have builds. I also like a clear and present low end. NO FARTING. This guitar fit my needs. You can hear it for yourself. I made of video demoing this exact guitar. And I overlaid a fair amount of guitar porn shots in there. Lots of smooth closeups n stuff.Here’s the video:

How’s the finish? Pretty good. Not flawless. Has dings and dents and one pink spot on the underside. Oh and some buckle rash. Nothing you can see unless you get up close. But I took pictures of every single blem. Examine them below. The finish in the guitar is pretty flexible. Most bumps and bruises just flex into the body rather than crack and flake like other guitars. This is like vertical stripes on a plump girl. They naturally hide any problem areas. Setup, intonation, tremolo/vibrato .. It’s set up with .10s I think. Intonation is fine.. No major buzzing. Action is at a low medium. Trem is set up with a little extra tension. I don’t have the bar for it (you can find these on eBay for less than $8 shipped). I never was much of a whammy type. Some dudes set these up as hard tails by just putting 2 dowels in the cavity. I think I’ve covered everything about the guitar that the pictures and video can’t tell you.If you have any questions … Click for more info

Color is Daphne Blue it is in great shape very minimal fret wear if any and was rarely played. Sounds great and action is low (it was professionally set up recently). It has a real Brazilian Rosewood fret board (which is what they did in the day). Guitar has crazing in the finish and a few small chips and dings. Also the top of the neck pocket has some of the paint removed but it is not in the wood. These vintage instruments had a very thin finish. Case is original and in wonderful condition too. The guitar is 36 years old and has it’s share of nicks and bruises thats can be seen in the pictures. Some people call it relic’d or aged but this one came natural with play time. This came from a large store buyout and we have literally  hundreds of guitars and basses to sell, and we do not have the time or resources to test/inspect  every one. Most will be sold AS IS, and there are definitely some gems in the lot, so be sure to  check in regularly!Up for auction is this used 1968 Fender Mustang. I sprayed out the switches but I’m sure they could use it again.This does produce sound, but may have scratchy pots,   a neck in need of adjustment, or other issues that will require attention or repair. Specifically this guitar has a neck pickup with loose wires (see photos) but it still works!?!?!  Comes with a hard  shell case  in good condition.

Missing the trem arm but they are available on line.The neck is straight and the frets are in new shape.
