I *really* don’t even want to sell it, however I need money for my school classes and I haven’t used it much recently anyways. It’s BEAUTIFUL, I mean pristine, these pics do not even do it justice. There are no dings, scratches, besides some very light ones on the pickguard which is anticipated with any guitar. Comes with a vintage hardshell case. Fender 69 Mustang Reissue Electric Guitar

I’m selling a 69 reissue Mustang made in 1995. All the switch settings work the way they are supposed to. It has a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge (its upside down for some reason) and a Lace Sensor Gold (not the Hot version) in the neck. Other than that nothing was really altered and its in great condition other than a small dent on near the strap button. It can be completely restored if you found two original mustang pickups however it works great as is. Comes with strap locks, a strap, case, and trem arm.  Body: Warmoth made Mustang body. Professionally painted Metallic Dark Silver with metallic light silver competition stripes.  The body is light weight (probably basswood). Bridge: Warmoth modified mustang bridge and Fender Vibrato. Pickguard: Custom white pearloid pickguard (USA made). Electronics: Guts, pots, hardware assumed to be Fender ’65 reissue Mustang parts.PIckups: Seymour Duncan pickups, Hot Rails in the neck and humbucker in the bridge. Here it is, my 1977 Fender Mustang, in all it’s original glory.  Besides a few nicks and scratches, this guitar is in incredible shape.  Plays like a dream.  The premier guitar of the salad days of CBGB’s and the whole New York rock scene of the mid to late seventies.  Talking Heads, Television, Adrian Belew, just to name a few.  Plus bands like Sonic Youth, Wilco, and the late Kurt Cobain.  Coming up on the 20th anniversary of ‘Nevermind’, this guitar could be the catalyst to get you out of the basement and onto the stage to blaze trails of your own.  It hurts me to have to get rid of this guitar.  I’ve had it for four wonderful years.  Buying it from a vintage dealer in Colorado, it was me ‘settling’ since I couldn’t afford a Jazzmaster.  Little did I know that this guitar would win me over ten times over.  What I thought was settling turned into a game changer for me.  My sound, style, and attitude changed once I hung this guitar over my shoulders and started playing.  It breathed new life into my songwriting.  It opened doors musically and widened the landscape of my musical creativity.  Sounds pretty over the top, doesn’t it?  Yeah, but it’s true.

I purchased this new a few years ago. It has only been played a few times and beyond a few finger prints, there are no marks on this guitar that I can find. It looks like it was just unpacked out of the box. The case is the matching mustang case made for this guitar the same year it came out. The case listed at about $175.00 when it was new. Look at the pictures to see how nice this guitar is. The case has one long light scuff on it (see picture) that is hard to see unless you are really looking for it. The latches are just a little bit dull looking. All of the “case candy” that is pictured comes with the guitar along with the original trem bar. Here is your chance to own a really great Fender Competition Mustang in Candy Apple Red with the matching silver/grey hard shell case. Lucky You!!!!

I have a Fender Mustang guitar 69′ reissue sonic blue 95-96 made in Japan. I am a big Nirvana fan and loved having this guitar like the one Kurt Cobain rocked on the In Utero tour. The sonic blue color is a hard shade to find unless you buy a brand new one of course. I didn’t use it all that much so it is in really great condition! I just had it around for the looks! Hehe! I have a Martin acoustic that I use a lot more. The only thing slightly imperfect is that the bridge is a little raised as you can see in the picture. This can be easily fixed. No dents or scratches on this baby. Sorry, no whammy bar. Just learn to slide and your good. Everything is original and nothing was ever replaced. This phasing option was also unusual for 1964.CONDITION- A minor cratch is visable on the lower handguard, its about 1/8th inch.- Few minor scratches could be seen all of which are from playing on the pickguard.- No other cosmetic damages are found (unfound tiny ones might be seen). I have looked it over and saw nothing else that might be considered a blemish. This guitar was loved like a child, and was kept in a loving non-smoking home.- All original parts, nothing has been modified.- Neck condition is good, has a truss rod, and has been played gently. - There is a slight problem with the tune knob, where it has become disconnected and needs to be looked at. I don’t know how this happened. I own several guitars and one day it wouldn’t catch when you adjust it. - I cannot find the whammy bar/tremolo bar at this time but will continue to look for it. Neat vintage 1975 Fender Mustang electric guitar. Serial number 626266. Made in the USA. All original.
Guitar does have some nicks, dings and scratches. The finish has some crazing. Some checking on the lower horn and the side of the body.
Neck is straight and the frets do show some play wear. Their is still some life left in them though. The fretboard has play wear down at the butt.
Guitar plays great and all the electronics work and sound great.
24″ scale. 1 5/8″ width at the nut. 1/16″ action.
Action is super low, could stand to be raised a tad.
Comes with a gig bag but I will pack very well for shipping.
