This phasing option was also unusual for 1964.CONDITION- A minor cratch is visable on the lower handguard, its about 1/8th inch.- Few minor scratches could be seen all of which are from playing on the pickguard.- No other cosmetic damages are found (unfound tiny ones might be seen). I have looked it over and saw nothing else that might be considered a blemish. This guitar was loved like a child, and was kept in a loving non-smoking home.- All original parts, nothing has been modified.- Neck condition is good, has a truss rod, and has been played gently. - There is a slight problem with the tune knob, where it has become disconnected and needs to be looked at. I don’t know how this happened. I own several guitars and one day it wouldn’t catch when you adjust it. - I cannot find the whammy bar/tremolo bar at this time but will continue to look for it. 1972 Fender Mustang very nice with original hard case. Here is what I know about the guitar…. It is a 72 mustang in decent condition with original hardshell case. We got this on trade and is sounds very good and looks good. It does have some dings and scratches on the front, on the back it has some deep gouges that do not affect the playability of the guitar at all. It is still a very nice guitar.  The frets are in very good condition. Look at the pictures and see for yourself it is a nice vintage guitar.

Fender Mustang 1965 Reissue w/Custom Shop Pickups

Item for bids is a 1965 Fender Mustang ReIssue.  Made in Japan. Serial number is S01 8796.  The guitar is in beautiful condition.  It has custom shop pickups installed.  The original pickups will be included also. Neck is straight as an arrow and it plays like a million bucks.  First three frets have some fret wear but there are still many miles of playing left on them.  There is a small indentation that is in between the bottom two bouts on the back but you really have to look for it.  It’s about the size of a thumb nail and is not that deep and not noticable unless looking for it.  Everything works 100% and the guitar sounds great and a bit fatter than most mustangs.  Also included are the whammybar and an Epiphone gigbag.  I pack all guitars with the utmost care and am familiar with the necessary packing proceedures to assure that it will arrive undamaged.  This guitar is set at a very reasonable reserve.  Guitar is also “Sold as is”.  Thanks for looking! … Click for more info

Vintage 1965 Fender Mustang, All Original

Listed here is a Vintage Olympic White, all original, 1965 Fender Mustang guitar. Stamped on Neck 08 NOV 65 B and serial number on neck plate is 148268. As you can see from the pics, guitar is in great shape except for the finish and small hairline crack in the at the butt end of the body.
Pick up covers have faded to a greenish grey color. Overall finish is yellowed with age and crazing is evident, but hey the guitar is almost 46 years old! Frets and neck are in great condition as this guitar was played minimally by owner, inherited by myself and has been in my closet un-played for the past 15 years. Neck is 24” with 22 frets, no buzzes or dead spots. She plays great and is a steal with the bidding starting at just $600.00 with no reserve. Guitar comes with original case in great condition, and a “groovy” 60-70’s strap. This is a short auction so don’t let this one pass you by if you are looking for a ’65 “Stang”. Pics are included so you can see for yourself the condition. All vintage Fender Mustang guitars are only going up in value. I am only selling because I need some cash and the fact that I haven’t played it in 15 years.

Vintage 65 USA Fender 1965 Fender Mustang – no reserve!

Up for auction is an original USA made 1965 Fender Mustang guitar. The original vibrato bar is included. This guitar will ship in a vintage Fender case that I do not believe is the original to this guitar. Pickups, pots, switches, wiring all appears original. Serial number is 105738. Neck date is “8NOV65B” meaning November 8, 1965, with a “B” neck width of 1 5/8″. This is the full 24″ scale version with 22 small vintage frets and a slab rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. Body finish is Dakota red. This is a beautiful vintage Fender guitar that needs a new home. She could use some new strings and a set-up. The 3-way switch for the neck pickup can be finicky, so it likely will need to be cleaned or replaced at some point. Fender Mustang Sonic Blue w/humbuckers

This is a Japanese Sonic Blue Fender Mustang reissue (U039410), most likely from the mid 90s when Fender started reproducing them after their new surge in popularity. I bought this modded guitar from a friend with the humbuckers already installed, I’m not sure of the models but they’re both Seymour Duncan pickups and sound great. There’s an extra tone knob added, and the switches give the two pickups a nice combination of reverse polarity twang and thick crunch. Plays very smooth. I have another Mustang just like it, and this one plays much better than my other one. So why am I selling the better guitar? The other one was my first “real” guitar, so it has priceless sentimental value. The washer piece around the high E string tuner is missing, but is still functional, I would recommend replacing it, as it causes a slight buzz. Has a bunch of battle scars with missing paint chips, but if that bothered you, you would probably be looking to buy a Les Paul anyway. … Click for more info

Fender Mustang Reissue RI MIJ Japan with hardshell case

This is a 1993 or 1994 Fender Mustang reissue. Crafted in Japan. It plays great and sounds great. Easy to play neck with 24″ scale. Hardly any fret wear.
Its in great condition with only three flaws. 1. A small nick on the back of the neck which is shown in one of the pictures. 2. Crack in finish at neck joint, shown in one of the pictures. 3. No whammy bar.
