1989 Strat Plus Deluxe Fender Stratocaster

1989 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe, all original.  The color is black pearl dust and the pickups are Lace Sensor Silver/Silver/Blue which was in the Strat Plus Deluxe series in the very beginning.   The Deluxe series also included a Wilkinson nut, locking tuners, medium jumbo frets and bi-flex truss rod.  The Hipshot Tremsetter mounted in the body cavity between the tremelo springs made sure that the tremelo would return to the exact same floating position when used.  As always, the pictures tell the story.  This one shows signs of being played but not of being abused.  There is fret wear which is shown in the pics.  As you can also see the pickguard and plastic parts appear to be faded to a parchment or cream color.  There is some buckle rash on the back which is show in the pics.  It has to be tilted to catch the light for it to show up.  Buyer to pay actual shipping charge, there is no “handling” fee.  International buyers are welcome but I suggest you contact me for shipping cost before bidding.  My one neutral feedback came from a guy in Argentina that used “But it Now” before finding out the shipping charge.  I gave him the option of canceling the purchase and he accepted but left a neutral feedback.    … Click for more info

Fender Stratocaster, Made in Japan, with case

Serial number E964622Black body, white pick guard, original case and tremolo arm included.Maple neck, and I think (not sure) alder body.3 single coil pickups, 5-way selector switch.I bought it used in 1989 and mostly it has languished in my closet.There is a small scratch (see photo) between the bridge and the strap button that looks like a little white line.  I have not tried buffing it out or anything.  I imagine you could touch it up with a sharpie and nobody would ever know.I never really used the tremolo. To make it stay in tune a little better, I did take the back cover off and put more tension on the springs.  If you use the tremolo, you will want to undo this.The tremolo arm is silver with a white tip, just like new. I have not played it in years, but did lend it to a friend, who took it to a shop to have it re-strung and set up.  She said that the luthier told her there was a little fret wear around the first few frets.She was also a beginner, and after playing with this for about a week she went out and bought a G&L.A very comfortable and easy to play guitar (it was my first electric).The case is not in great shape – though it still does its job fine.On the inside, the strap button has destroyed the little support notch (see photo).On the outside, there is a bit of the black cover scraped off near the neck end, and the black fabric is starting to come apart at the seam a little near the middle hinge.The middle hinge has a little “Made in Japan” stamped onto it.On Aug-29-11 at 12:26:47 PDT, seller added the following information:I have been receiving lots of questions about international shipping.  Sorry, I am not an eBay wizard and have not figured out how to account for variable shipping costs.  I appreciate your interest but I will not be shipping internationally.  Thanks! … Click for more info

Fender Blue Floral StratocasterUp for sale is a limited edition, made in Japan Fender Blue Floral Stratocaster. It’s a good one and nice and light at a scant 7.3 lbs. You can’t mess around with MIJ Fenders, top notch all the way. It is sure to get you noticed with the foil flower print that fades to a medium blue metallic paint. It features vintage styled Strat appointments like the stamped 6 screw bridge, Kluson type tuners, headstock logo and one piece maple neck. (This is a more recent edition of this classic look. It is hard to determine an exact year on these newer MIJ guitars.)Details
Cosmetic/Physical Condition:
While it may technically be “used” this thing has barely been looked at! It has one small nick in the paint but otherwise it only has the fainted of scratches. It even still has the little pieces of plastic film over the pickups! All the hardware and electronics are fully functional.

It’s a great feeling and playing Strat! The neck has a great medium to medium/thin C shape that most players will be right at home on. The neck is straight and the frets have next to no play. Great action with the light and resonant body this Strat just sings!

Fender “SRV” Stevie Ray Vaughan Relic Guitar

 Here is a 1998 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster with some road wear (Retail for $2,400 on the Fender site). This guitar has character! It feels and plays amazing , I personally think this guitar sounds better from having some of the paint come off and allowing the wood to breath more. This guitar works perfectly and has given me no problems. The frets are still great, the beefy neck is actually one of the best necks that I have ever played on, it’s like holding a baseball bat. The pau ferro fretboard is one of the nicest fret boards I have seen on these SRV guitars. I own two of them and this one has a neck that is so dark it almost looks like brazilian rosewood. Overall this guitar with high grade Fender parts will last a lifetime if not more. I hate to sell it especially for this price because I am losing money but the economy is tough.. This is a unique high quality piece for someone who likes SRV at an affordable price. My loss is your gain!  Comes with hard tweed case, Dunlop strap locks, Left handed Tremolo Bar (not shown in pictures). The white leather guitar strap is NOT included!Even the hard case has some road wear! Tremolo bridges have an arm (called the tremolo or whammy bar) that extends from below the string anchoring point. 1988 Fender Stratocaster Plus OHSC E4 Serial

Up for grabs; my used 1988 Fender Stratocaster Plus! The body is signed, and there is a monogram in the neck pocket. The neck has the date pencilled, and builder stamps The lace sensor pickups are stamped as patents pending! Note the “E4″ serial; this appeared on very early Strat Plus guitars; ’87-’88. The tone pot on the TBX pot is a bit loose; the pot works great, the knob is just a bit stripped.  I am not the original owner, but I have not changed anything on this guitar save for the strings!This is a GREAT player’s guitar. Not a mint collector’s piece, by a long shot.There are lots of scuffs, small dings and dents, a bit of hazing, some arm wear… this guitar has been played!
