We’re an authorized Fender dealer and we’re doing some remodeling and general house cleaning. This guitar is fresh out of the factory box and has not been played or been on display in our store.

This auction is a MADE IN USA FENDER TELECASTER electric guitar, serial number shows manufacture date of 1997-98. This has all the classic sound and style of the original Telecasters. Gloss black finish, chrome hardware, maple neck is straight and action is very easy to play. No fret buzz. Two pickups controlled by a three position toggle switch and separate volume tone controls. There are dings on the back of the neck at the 12th and 3rd fret positions. There are the usual minor surface scratches on the back and front of the guitar from playing. Overall, a great guitar for stage or studio gigs. Comes with a soft padded gig bag. Check out photos and if you have time, my other unique eBay musical instrument auctions.

Info:  Up for auction is this Fender made in Japan Pink Paisley Telecaster. The original pickups have been switched out for EMG TC pickups. The vintage tuners have been replaced with Fender standard chrome tuners. The original bridge has been replaced to house the slightly larger EMG pickup. The bridge also has 6 separate strat style saddles as opposed to the regular tele saddles. The black toggle switch knob has been replaced with a white strat style knob. Nice maple neck and fretboard with 21 frets. The regular dot inlay has been replaced with mother of pearl dot inlay by luthier Bernie Lehman. The guitar has a clear tele pickguard. The guitar is in great condition. There is a scuff by the recessed input jack and there are a few scratches on the pickguard from regular wear and tear. Made in Japan in the late 80’s. I do not have the serial number as it does not have the original bridge, however, the neck and the body are stamped “69-70 C” leading me to believe it is a 68 reissue from the late 80’s (I’m sure some techie will figure that out). The guitar sounds amazing with the EMG’s. It plays effortlessly, sounding great clean or distorted. I will include a brand new Fender gig bag with the guitar. Awesome guitar!
