lacquer Olympic White finish by Mark Jenny of MJT® Aged Guitar Finishes.  The neck is an Allparts brand TRO-FAT model.  It’s Maple with Rosewood fingerboard, Chunky C Shape, 21 medium frets, 9.5″ radius, 1-5/8″ nut width, Neck thickness 1.00″ at first fret, 1.00″ at twelfth fret.  The neck is also topped off with an aged vintage 100% nitro lacquer finish by Mark Jenny.  This auction includes the aged body, aged neck and all aged hardware including: 3 ply aged White pickguard, threaded saddle Fender* stamped bridge, control plate, barrel knobs, top hat

This came from a large store buyout and we have literally hundreds of guitars and basses piled up, ready to sell, and we do not have the time or resources to test/inspect every one. Many will be sold AS IS, and there are definitely some gems in the lot, so be sure to check in regularly!Up for auction is this used vintage 1988-89 Fender Telecaster Electric Guitar in full working condition. All controls work as expected, the neck is straight and true and this plays great. Shows some wear including a few spots of finish and body wear, some cracking finish around the neck joint, and some dings in the back of the neck, but it really plays like butter. Fender Mostly American Standard Telecaster

This guitar started out as a 1997 Inca Silver American Standard Telecaster. It was stolen from me a few years ago, and then finally recovered. Sounds good, except whoever had it before it made it’s way back to me decided they’d install a Bigsby trem unit. Unfortunately, they butchered the job and basically destroyed the original body. So, I decided to salvage what I could and have it rebuilt with a new body from Allparts. The result is what you see here. It turned out beautiful I think. The body is mint, the hardware is beautifully polished, the frets have tons of life left and the neck is smooth and comfortable and in great condition for being 15 years old. I’m not sure what it’s worth, so I’m starting the auction at $1.00 with no reserve. UPS Ground shipping will be included in the sale price, so please bid accordingly. Here are the pictures…

1998 Fender Telecaster USA quilt maple body

 This is a 1998 USA Fender Telecaster. This guitar has an aftermarket pearl pickguard. I don’t believe the electronics are original either. The bridge pickup is a clothe wrapped model & the pickup selector is a four way. The top neck position creates a loud humbucking tone. Perhaps the neck pickup is a stacked humbucker. The other three positions are standard Tele settings. There is significant belt buckle rash on the back of the body & there is some wear at the base of the headstock (probably from sitting in a string swing). My scale reads 8 pounds / 11 ounces.
