Florida luthier whose last name is Lawson, can’t remember his full name
at the time of this post.

This ’84 Gibson spirit with a carved, flamed maple cap
added. It’s been coated in an accurate nitro and it looks awesome. It
has a beautiful amber finish.

Mahogany body with set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard with pearl dot
inlay. There’s a belly scarf on back. Chrome hardware includes
stoptail/tune-o-matic and Grover tuners.

Neck is super straight with no bowing or twisting. Frets and fretboard
are in great shape. The action is so low on this guitar it’s insane.
It plays great. Extremely fast neck with a medium to thick neck profile.
Definitely not a slender neck.

Electronics include two volume/one tone, three way toggle and coil tap switch.

Pickups are the two original Tim Shaw Double Creams and they sound incredible.

Other than the maple cap the only unoriginal parts appear to be the
Grover’s and the coil tap switch, and the hardshell case. The case is not
a Gibson but it’s a cool vintage case that fits well and protects the

Gibson Les Paul Studio Fireburst OHSC Watch Demo Video

Sometimes life really sucks and when it does you have to sell great guitars.  This is one of those times and this is one of those great guitars.  This is a les paul Fireburst with silver hardware, rosewood fretboard, Kluson tuners, and dunlop strap locks.  The guitar is about a 9 out of 10 visually no real buckle rash but some light signs of wear.  The guitar has a unique neck not quite 50′s not quite 60s in my opinion.  If you ever watch a les paul get made the man making it holds the neck up to a sander until he thinks its done making each one a little different.  I think it is a very fast neck if that helps.  The frets are good and this guitar plays real nice and you can watch the video I am posting in the ebay auction.  It comes with the original Gibson case.  Pay Pal only, USA shipping only.</font … Click for more info

1990 Gibson Les Paul Studio – Hard case – Gold Hardware

1995 Les Paul Studio in ebony finish with gold hardware and Gibson’s recommended blues lesson DVD set by John Tuggle. Everything you need to learn them blues and take your playing to the next level. Great for beginners but mostly geared toward intermediate players! The guitar includes a well worn Epiphone Les Paul case that has some mileage on it. Structurally great but not a beauty queen, two latches not working but the other three are getting it done.
The guitar is in average shape for the age and being a daily player for someone. This was made back when nobody cried about heavy guitars and enjoyed the sustain and tone instead (aka not chambered, hacked, Swiss-cheesed). It has been played so the body shows a good bit of wear. The top has  several dings and some scratches The bottom where the guitar would rest on your right leg has a couple decent impressions, as well as a lot of impressions on the back. Lots of minor dings and a couple small ones that penetrate the finish into the wood. Aside from the minor aesthetics, the guitar is a great player with moderate fret wear. The gold hardware is tarnished like all Gibson’s with gold hardware. The original tailpiece and bridge were swapped with new Gibson parts because the tarnish bothered the original owner but the stock parts are included. Nice Ebony neck and will be setup with new stings before it arrives at your door. The guitar sounds great and has loads of sustain as you would imagine a nice fat solid would.
