Info:   This is a very special Gibson Les Paul Standard that formerly belonged to a Gibson employee who was told that he could select any guitar in the shop when he retired, and he chose this one.  I have owned it for approximately a year, and fully intended to keep it for the rest of my life, but circumstances require me to sell it, so here it is listed on Ebay.  I believe it is a 2003 model based on the serial number.  It has the slim-profile 1960′s neck, and is totally stock with all original parts.  The pick guard is included in the case and has never been installed.  I paid just over $2000 for this guitar here on Ebay about a year ago.  The previous seller told me that he had taken it to a few experts who agreed that while it was not technically a custom shop instrument, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into the finishing of this guitar.  I am merely repeating exactly what he said.  I weighed it via very unscientific methods (me holding it on a bathroom scale), and believe it weighs approximately 8.5 lbs., but please don’t put too much faith in this.Just before listing it here for sale, I took it to the best luthier in town for a pro setup.  He replaced the nut while it was in the shop, as he said the previous nut had a couple of grooves that were filed too deeply in the original setup, so he replaced it with a new bone nut.  It’s a beautiful job and looks totally stock.  He also adjusted the intonation, etc., and it plays beautifully.  This work cost me just under $100 and was completed less than a month ago.This instrument has hardly been played and has virtually no wear and shows only the faintest signs of use.  The first owner (the ex-Gibson employee) didn’t play it at all, the second owner kept it under his bed most of the time, and I have played it maybe three hours total, and only in my house.  As far as I know it has never been gigged.  The frets are nearly new.  There are a couple of nearly invisible scratches here and there, but you have to look really hard in just the right light to find them and many people would never notice them at all, but I want to provide an honest description.  Absolutely no buckle marks, etc.  The only flaw worth mentioning specifically is a tiny red mark along the top edge.  It’s not a chip, as the finish is still intact, but it looks like a tiny reddish circle about 2mm in diameter.  See the last picture, and it’s near the lower-central portion of the photo.  It’s about the size of the end of a pen, and I took a closer picture with a pen … Click For More Info

Info:  Offered for sale is a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in transparent red.   Itâ??s medium weight and fast neck make this one a terrific player.   The original mini-humbuckers are super warm and punchy – a great  sounding guitar. This guitar  features two  mini-humbuckers, witch hat knobs and â??pancakeâ? body construction and original  tuners.  The serial number and â??Made In USA” are stamped on the  back of the headstock.

It is a great guitar, both the sound and how it feels, and being able to tune it into any tuning with minimal effort is sweet. Info:  Up for auction is my 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard in heritage cherry, The guitar is in overall very good to excellent condition with only minor marks on the back from general playing and a few pick marks on front. It has no buckle rash. The fret condition is excellent. They show almost no sign of use. I would call them 95-98% to be conservative. The action is perfect. This is a 60′s style neck. It plays beautifully as you would expect. Holds tune and intonation.
This guitar has been played so it does show minor marks from use with some swirl marks from polishing. Included are a couple of very small dents on the back and one on the front. I tried to show them in the pictures but they don’t show up. Also the right corner of the headstock was bumped. No breaks or repairs. It weighs in at 9.1 lbs.
I bought the guitar new and have taken very good care of it. It’s been maintained in my air conditioned, smoke free house (has never left the house). This guitar has been played infrequently over the past 4 years and unfortunately I’m forced to sell it to cover tuition cost. 
Included is the original Gibson hard shell case with the original inspection tag and lock information. The lock has never been changed.

Info:  Here is a 2003 Gibson Les Paul standard with the original hard shell case.  The guitar is in excellent+ condition and is 100% original.  The guitar is absolutely gorgeous.  I would call it near mint condition.  The guitars finish is very nice with no dings that I can see.  The action is low and the neck is dead straight.  The guitar plays and sounds great as you would expect..  Beautiful looking black finish with white pickguard..  Looks so sweet.  Everything on the guitar is original all the way down to the screws.  It had straplocks on it, but I put the originals back on after taking the pictures.  Sorry about the bad pics, it’s hard taking pictures of black guitars.  You get all kinds of reflections in the photos. You can bend past full step and still no fret outs. Nice and smooth neck. I really did not get to play this guitar much at all. It is in great shape. It was taken very very good care of. It has a few small dings at a couple of places but the guitar is in great shape. Here is a 1958 Gibson Les Paul Jr 3/4 electric guitar, made in the USA. The serial # is 8-47XX. This guitar is pretty rare not too many of these 3/4 jr’s were made. It looks to be all original with the original soft shell case. This cool little Jr is in very good condition for it’s age. It does have some nicks and scratches. The frets have some wear. The neck is straight with good action. This guitar screams! The pickup is hot reading 8.03 ohms. This guitar weighs 7.8 pounds. The scale length is 23″. The nuts width is 19/16″. This would make a great little couch guitar or just a nice addition to you Jr collection.
