For your consideration is this vintage 1983 Yamaha SBG3000 electric guitar. This particular example, serial number 122751, is in very excellent vintage condition and includes the original hard shell case, as well as, the original warranty/registration card! This guitar is being sold with No Reserve and FREE U.S.A. shipping and discounted Worldwide delivery, so bid now, because the highest bidder will win… regardless of price!The SBG3000 features: mahogany body with a carved maple top and Mexican abalone inlay, laminated maple/mahogany neck, bound ebony fingerboard with split mother of pearl and abalone inlay, (2) Spinex alloy humbucking pickups, Small-Mass Tune-O-Matic style bridge and tailpiece, specially designed precise-torque tuning machines, Yamaha’s push-push coil split switch, gold hardware, the original warranty/registration card, and the original hard shell case. This guitar is in very excellent 100% original condition. There is some very minimal and expected wear on the gold tailpiece, in addition to, a little wear on the black anodized pickup covers. The neck is perfectly straight, the guitar feels incredible, and the overall quality of the guitar easily surpasses the best American instruments from the era. Those of you familiar with the model are aware of how stunning it really is.While this example is in very excellent cosmetic condition and perfect structural shape, it appears that the previous, and only, owner had installed non-original tuning machines at some point, only later to restore the guitar with the original tuners. Barely visible are the professionally drilled holes, that barely peak out from beneath the original tuners. Recently, while being thoroughly inspected and tested, I noticed that one of the push/pull potentiometers was intermittent, and had stopped working well. Currently, it is stuck in the released position. The switch will need to be serviced, repaired, or replaced, but it just stopped working several days ago, so it will probably only require something quite simple.Payment Details

Gibson Sg Standard black mint brand new condition 2009

2009 Black Gibson Sg Standard. This guitar is in way better condition than what guitar stores sell as new, no scratches or buckle rash anyplace. The only blemish is a very small dot in the clear that is about the size of the head of a sewing needle. Barely any pick scrapes on the pick guard. Never played it much at all just put a brand new set of strings on it and broke them in last week, my les paul is my main Axe. Comes with a mint condition gibson hardshell case too!

The last guitar I sold on here was an Ltd ec1000 deluxe and the feedback came positive and said better condition than described. I won’t waste your time, pick up this gem. I hate to sell.

However, Les was not particularly fond of the design which featured a thinner mahogany body with beveled edges and pointed horns, so the guitar eventually got a new name: The SG, which stood for “Solid Guitar.” It was actually a big success for Gibson – obviously the right design for the times. Most SGs were finished in Cherry, which was all the rage in the ’60s, however, some were produced in either solid black or white. The original SG Standard was actually at the top of the SG “food chain” back in the ’60s, though it still sold well because it delivered all the features most guitarists wanted in terms of playability and sound. Recently purchased from the original owner, this Blueshawk is an excellent candidate for those looking for an example that has been well take care of, and remains in very fine 100% original un-modified condition. Vintage 1973 YAMAHA SG-35 Electric Guitar Must See!

Cool old player from estate.  S/N on freboard of 22142 tells us that this is from the 1st year of production of this model, the SG-35. The stamps on the bottom of the pickups confirm this as do the parallelogram fretboard inlay work and the Mahogany wood used.  Under the heading of either unoriginal or flaws we have 1) refin (old spraypaint job it seems) brown, 2) repaired crack at edge of upper headstock under tuner–seems solid and of no functional consequence. Most importantly headstock shows no cracks or repairs behind nut at heel where it really matters, 3) knobs may be replacements 4) tuners changed to older Schallers.   Under the heading of GOOD news! we have 1) original pickups and electronics–cool and unique sounding humbuckers 2) fretboard looks like rosewood and though well pl;ayed still plays really well 3) action is low and smooth-bridge still has room to go up or down so alignment is good. This auction if for a Gibson SG Standard Electric guitar. This guitar NEEDS NECK REPAIR* I’m selling this for my brother and I watched him test the guitar out. It still works but it should undergo neck repair to be in pristine conditions again. The guitar has a paint chip on the side and as stated has a crack on the neck in need of repair.I’m not sure what year this guitar was made. I pulled off the back plate but could not find any year markings. It has a Bigsby Tremolo tail piece which I have not seen too often in my research on this model.This is a cool guitar and can be a great steal for the enthusiast who wants a project guitar to refurbish. 2002 GIBSON SG STANDARD IN RARE NATURALBURST!!

You are bidding on an absolute tone monster!  You are looking at a 2002 Gibson SG Standard in rare naturalburst.  No, your eyes are not deceiving you!  This guitar is not black or red!
I have tried as best I can to show the playwear and “love” this guitar has received over the years.  Yes, it has been gigged with and well-played.  However, this is what gives in character, mojo and TONE!!  It has upgraded Kluson locking tuners and a Faber ABR-1 bridge.  You can look up Faber aftermarket bridges here:

This bridge replacement has increased the depth of tone and sustain on this instrument and so it rocks the house!  The Kluson locking tuning machines also provide stability and ease when changing strings.  All other components on the guitar are stock, including the pickups.  I just cannot imagine a set of pups better suited to the SG than the 490R/498T combination, which this guitar has.  It comes with the original hard shell case.  The case is worn but it still does its job.  The frets, as you can see, are in great condition.  This axe plays like a dream!
Again, I have tried as best as possible to show the dings, belt buckle rash, etc. on the guitar.  It is pretty much present everywhere if you look closely.  However, from 3 feet away it is very hard to spot.  We all know well-played instruments sound better and have that “woody” tone we’re all after.  This is a player’s guitar for sure.  If you need a cosmetically pristine instrument, you should probably keep looking.
