2001 Gibson Historic ’68 Les Paul Custom Reissue
Posted by brian in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2009
Just one of the most beautiful sounding guitars with tons of tone and sustain due in part to its weight (10+lbs.) NOT CHAMBERED ! and stock Gibson Burstbucker Pickups which were design to sound like the original PAF humbuckers. Nice fat round ’68 neck profile that fills up your hand nicely (1 5/8 at the nut), I found it very comfortable and really easy to play. Super fast bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, the jumbo frets have almost no wear ! Factory nickle Grover machine heads. NO NECK BREAKS OR REPAIRS EVER ! Gibson really did these right. A true classic , a work of art and a real pleasure to play !
All original except for the tone and volume knobs which were swaped out for the more aged looking ’57 style tophats. I will include the original black and silver knobs as well as the set you see in the photos. Also I forgot to swap the strap lock strap buttons before I took the photos , the originals are back on now.
I played this for only 3 years (2001-2003) but have not used it much since, it is in great condition but there are a few small dings on the top and back as well as some belt buckle rash on the back but nothing through to the wood (see pics).
You don’t see these ’68 reissues much, see more of the ’57′s . This was my dream guitar but now it can be somebody elses. Comes with OHSC and case candy. Reserve is well below the list price. US and Canada only ,Paypal please. Thanks for looking. … Click For More Info

Gibson SG Standard Black with Hard Shell Case
Posted by brian in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2009
I would consider the condition to be very good. The pick guard screws have some rust from being well loved/played/sweated on
Now as far as the playability and the sound….. I honestly thing that this was one of those 1 in 10000 guitars that just has this perfect vibe to it. It plays like a dream, and sounds gorgeous. Its very versatile and can work for a range of sounds, of course rock being the best haha. You will be hard pressed to find a guitar that plays nicer than this one.
Please see my 100% Feedback and bid with absolute confidence. If you look at some of my recent auctions you will find very high priced music items that I have sold that were very successful
Also, please check out my other auctions. I have a bunch of boutique pedals for sale, and a really sweet american strat
Here is what Gibson says about this guitar:Lightweight, incredible playability, and the tone that launched a billion riffs. The Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar is one of the most popular incarnations of the legendary Gibson SG. It takes the best of the ’62 original and adds the longer and sturdier neck joint of the late ’60s models. All the classic features you’d expect from a historic guitar. Hot humbuckers go from rich, sweet lightning to warm, tingling waves of sustain. A silky-fast rosewood fretboard plays like a dream. The original-style beveled mahogany body looks like a million bucks. Plus, Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome hardware.
A Little SG HistoryIn 1961, the Les Paul was redesigned with a thinner body and 2 sharp cutaway horns that making the upper frets more accessible while lowering production costs. The new guitar was popular, but Les Paul the guitarist did not like it and asked to have his name removed. Gibson renamed the model the “SG” which was short for “solid guitar”. Though Les Paul’s name was officially removed from the model in 1961, the plastic Les Paul nameplates (positioned between the rhythm pickup and fingerboard) were in abundance in the Gibson factory and SG models having these nameplates were built and sold by Gibson up to end of 1963. SGs have been the choice of world-class artists such as Pete Townsend, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, and Angus Young. … Click For More Info
Gibson ES-135 Beautiful Guitar with Bigsby Tremolo
Posted by brian in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2009
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC CONDITION…..GUITAR OWNED BY A RETIRED GENTLEMAN WHO LOVES QUALITY AND KEEPING THINGS IN GREAT SHAPE LIKE THE HOUSE THE CARS AND THE GUITARS. THIS 135 HAS ONE FLEA BITE ON THE BACK NEAR THE NECK. SEE PICTURES….THE REST IS EXCELLENT SHAPE. THESE GUITARS ARE SOME OF THE BEST ELECTRO-ACOUSTICS AND A BETTER ALL AROUND GUITAR THAN THE 335 AND 137. GIBSON HAS DISCONTINUED THE 135′S AND PRISTINE EXAMPLES LIKE THIS ONE ARE A GREAT INVESTMENT. THE YOUNG GUYS AT MY FAVORITE MUSIC STORE SAY IT IS A BUYERS MARKET FOR GUITARS. EXCEPTION BEING WELL KEPT 135′S IN BEAUTIFUL SHAPE.
NOTE: Any colors or bumps or discoloration in pictures are from reflections of guitars surroundings when pictures were snapped, such has the stained glass window reflecting in some of the pictures or the styrofoam the guitar rested on. There are no imperfections on this 135 except the one flea bite. Thankyou

1995 VINTAGE WHITE FENDER STANDARD STRATOCASTER (MIM)
Posted by brian in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2009
Fender Deluxe Players Stratocaster with the factory protective plastic
still on it. If you like the look, we will swap the white pickguard for
the tortoise shell pickguard at no additional charge – your choice. The
only issue with the tortoise shell pickguard is that the Deluxe Player
Strats had an extra hole in the pickguard between the two tone knobs
for a push-button switch that activates the bridge pickup. We don’t
have the switch, so there will be an unused hole in the pickguard, but
the look is fantastic. The photo with the tortoise shell pickguard
simply has the guard lying on top of the white guard, but if you chose this guard it will be properly
mounted and installed on the guitar. The body a wonderful, glossy vintage white in fantastic shape. The white pickguard is 3 ply (white/black/white) and the tortoise shell pickguard is 4-ply (tortoise/white/black/white). The pickups and knobs are parchment, giving this guitar an aged appearance. The bridge, trem arm and tuning machines are corrosion free and shiny as when they were new. This guitar plays great, with fantastic Fender single coil tone and great action. Condition: Excellent. The overall appearance and condition is of a guitar with very little use over its lifetime. However, no used guitar is completely perfect, and when we see ads for “perfect” used guitars our BS meter starts rising. That’s why we take great pains to identify, describe and photograph any defects we can find so that you can make an informed bidding decision. So here goes:Body: One very small blemish on the back side, behind the output jack (see photo pointing it out). This appears to be a blemish in the clear coat only, and does not go through the vintage white color coat. Very hard to see.Neck: One very small blemish on the fretboard at the 6th fret, in the vicinity of the B string (see photo). Also very minor.Pickguard/Electronics: One very small “circle” on the white pickguard next to the upper bridge pickup mounting screw (see photo). This looks to be made by pen and not a scratch, but we didn’t want to apply chemicals to it for removal. Frankly, it looks like a tiny hair in the photos and in person, but it isn’t. Otherwise, there are very, very light picking scratches. No gouges or deep scrapes. The tortoise shell … Click For More Info

BEAUTIFUL FENDER STRATOCASTER ELECTRIC GUITAR USA
Posted by brian in Uncategorized on July 25th, 2009
Absolutely beautiful condition Fender Startocaster E 903185 MADE IN USA, METALIC RED Original contour Body,
Only one cosmetic issue you can see in pic of back-bottom edge of body, looks like a dent along the edge,
cannot be seen from front of guitar, Nice light color wood neck has absolutely no damage, nice smooth-
shiney wood grain. Entire guitar including metal knobs/pickups? buff to a mirror shine,
I really have very little knowledge about guitars, so please ask questions if I have left anything out,
I do not know what year this is but it appears to be very lightly used to me, no scratches on back where you would expect.
took lots of close ups for you. The pics do not do justice for the pearly metalic red color.
Anyone would be proud to own this beautiful instrument. Comes with Nice looking sturdy case, AMP cord, and
hand lever that screws into the front. sorry I do not know what that is called, as I said, I know very little about guitars,
I just know this one looks nearly new to me. Thanks…..
