Info: Up for purchase here is my 79 strat. Overdue child support/past due bills make selling this a necessity.
It’s in decent shape for a 30 year old guitar. The usual swirl marks on the pickguard, a slight checking on the clear finish near the butt of the guitar by the strap holder is hard to photograph, (about 2 inches long on the clear coat) otherwise in great shape. A little fret wear but it’s well set up with no buzzing frets. I really hate to part with this mainly because of the neck. Good action and no dead spots. Great neck tone and a nice bell like tone in the middle pickup – also nice and chimey in the 4 position (bridge and middle pickup setting)
The pickups, pots and switch are all original and all work fine. The original whammy bar and hardshell Fender case are included, The latches on the case all work fine.
