I purchased it new from Musicianâ??s Friend right after they first came out in the 90â??s. Itâ??s been in my (smoke-free) home since I got it. I donâ??t gig, but Iâ??ve been playing for 47 years.
Great condition. No dings or noticeable scratches. Just normal light pick marks where they normally are.
Plays great with â?on the gnatâ??s assâ? setup, and a couple of extra springs under the tremolo bridge to keep it nice and tight. Ballsey Strat sound with the Fender mid-range boost Powerhouse electronics. Just a great guitar made across the border under tight Fender supervision to ensure a really nice guitar when they were first introduced.
Visually stunning. The high-gloss banana yellow finish (â??Graffiti yellowâ? in factory terms), the white pearloid pick guard and the complimentary, vinyl cling stickers make most folks, even non-guitar playersâ?? eyes go ga-ga. Includes the Fender brand gig bag.
Reason for selling is that between our two kids and myself, we have 23 guitars. A wise man once said, â??Keep what you play, and sell what you donâ??t.â? Itâ??s one of the most visually attractive Stats Iâ??ve ever seen. I love it, but I canâ??t keep everything and at least I have the great memories. A very unique looking Strat.
