This is an early genuine Fender custom shop Stratocaster made in
1993. Custom ordered through the San Jose, CA. Guitar Center.
This beautiful Strat was
rarely ever played and is in excellent condition.
It would make a fine
addition for a collector or the pride and joy of a player.
Color: Candy apple red with rare matching headstock.
A beautiful nitrocellulose finish and white three ply pick guard. Fitted with Gold Hardware!
Body & Neck: Body is made of alder and the neck
is a stunning, heavy Birdseye maple with some flame. It has a dark, rich
rosewood fingerboard fitted with Dunlop 6105 jumbo frets. This really makes it
much more playable than the reissue custom shop guitars and bending is easier.
The neck finish was slightly matte from the factory so itâ??s not as â??stickyâ? and
feels like an older one. It also has a deep â??Câ? shape and is a bit deeper than
most â??62 reissue or standard necks. Frets have no wear and were set perfectly
by the custom shop. The guitar is medium-light weight and has exceptional tone
and also equipped with a 5-way toggle selector.
Condition: Looks nearly new with no dents or dings,
and just superficial scratches on pick guard. The gold hardware is showing some
age, which is common on sixteen-year-old Fender hardware. The â??Fenderâ? decal on
the headstock has a small nick in the letter â??nâ?.
It needs new strings.
Included is a guitar strap, cord, tremolo arm, a stainless
steel slide, and of course the original tweed case. The key is missing.Note: I do not have the original C.O.A.FREE S&H and Insurance!USA and Canada bids only!
