71026: 8.4 lbs.; perfect meaty neck (.907â? at first fret/1.0â? at 12th fret);
nice tall frets, killer, thoughtful aging treatment (best I have seen out of
many Murphy Les Pauls); beautifully figured fingerboard and back; aged
Wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups (original aged Classic â??57 pickups included); RS
electronics kit (original pots and caps included); aged and shaped bone nut,
recent Plek and set up by Phil Jacoby of Philtone; original paperwork (Gibson
did not issue Certificates for Custom Shop guitars in 2001); and what I believe
is the original case. Note that the original switch tip, which is not shown on
the guitar in the pics also is included. Just a great, finely tuned example of
Gibsonâ??s and Tom Murphyâ??s best work.
No disappointments with this fine guitar! US deals only please, and
