1950 Fender Broadcaster body Not a replica, relic or reproduction, this is the real deal from 1950! No cross channel route for the neck pickup wires. The body has been refinished professionally with nitrocellulose lacquer, along time ago; it has natural aging, weather checking and paint shrinkage and looks to be about 25 years old. The body was not over sanded and the edges maintain their proper radius. I cannot say for sure if the date in the neck pocket is the original but it looks correct, the “Nail holes” and pin router dowels are evident. The body had a gouge of wood out of the back on the top corner that was filled, (see pic.) I bought this from the second owner whom had the refinish done, if he would have not told me, I would have not spotted it right off. Other than that, it’s great! Weighs about 4 ¾ Lbs, not heavy for a Broadcaster. The body comes with the original string ferrules, milled jack cup and springs in the neck pocket.
