Info:  Up for auction is this Fender made in Japan Pink Paisley Telecaster. The original pickups have been switched out for EMG TC pickups. The vintage tuners have been replaced with Fender standard chrome tuners. The original bridge has been replaced to house the slightly larger EMG pickup. The bridge also has 6 separate strat style saddles as opposed to the regular tele saddles. The black toggle switch knob has been replaced with a white strat style knob. Nice maple neck and fretboard with 21 frets. The regular dot inlay has been replaced with mother of pearl dot inlay by luthier Bernie Lehman. The guitar has a clear tele pickguard. The guitar is in great condition. There is a scuff by the recessed input jack and there are a few scratches on the pickguard from regular wear and tear. Made in Japan in the late 80’s. I do not have the serial number as it does not have the original bridge, however, the neck and the body are stamped “69-70 C” leading me to believe it is a 68 reissue from the late 80’s (I’m sure some techie will figure that out). The guitar sounds amazing with the EMG’s. It plays effortlessly, sounding great clean or distorted. I will include a brand new Fender gig bag with the guitar. Awesome guitar!
