1986 GIBSON ES-335 STUDIO GUITAR
Very good condition 1986 Gibson ES-335 studio electric guitar finished in Red with original hardshell case. Professionally set up & plays great! 1986 Gibson ES-335 Studio Gibson ES-335s are great guitars…This ES-335 Studio is no different but this model is very hard to find and somewhat rare. The ES-335 Studio was built to be a working man’s ES-335…built to the same standards as the regular 335, but with a little less aesthetics. The Studio has 2 Gibson Dirty Fingers pickups, 50’s style mahogany neck, 22-frets (not sure if it is rosewood or ebony…looks like ebony to me), Kluson tuners and a rear electronics access panel. They left off the neck binding, flame top and the F-holes. The lack of F-holes is what makes this guitar stand out…not having them makes the guitar less likely to feedback….as a matter of fact, it doesnt feedback or hum at all, even when cranked thru a Marshall 100w! This guitar is in near mint condition. There is only VERY slight fretwear (see pic…can’t really see any wear).
