Here we have a 1969-70 Gibson ES-335. The original neck was broken. The new neck was replaced and the whole guitar was refinished by an authorized Gibson repair center back in the 1980′s. Overall the guitar is in very good condition with some wear on the top and some nicking here and there as seen in pictures. The neck is nice and straight with the truss rod working just fine. The frets and rosewood fretboard are in great shape with only very slight wear to the frets and alot of fret left. There are a couple of small holes on the top that were filled and painted over as you can see in picture. The neck has a nice 60′s thin profile and the nut is 1 9/16″.
The Gibson orange label is still intact. You can read most of it but the serial number is hard to see starting with a 1xxxxx 6 digit. Orange labels were started in 1968
SELLING ‘AS IS’….. as a work project.
This is a nice piece of wood and would make a great ES-335 when put into the right hands.
She weighs just under 7 lbs.
Comes with non original heavy duty hard case as seen in picture.
Shipping weight is 29 lbs.
