This is a 2006 Gibson USA Custom ES-335 Satin guitar in Cherry Finish with original Gibson Custom Case. From Chuck Berry to Larry Carlton, Freddie King to Alvin Lee, the Gibson ES-335 has proven to be one of the most popular and adaptable guitars ever created. Touted as the â??wonder-thinâ? body by Gibson when it launched in 1958, the ES-335 represented a ground-breaking innovation in electric guitars. With its solid maple center block and f-hole semi-hollowbody design, the ES-335 effectively delivers the singing sustain of a solidbody while
preserving the tone and richness of a full hollowbodyâ??with no feedback. it shares the same solid center block design with some of Gibson’s other Electric Spanish models (like the ES-335).
The ES-335 Satin features the same construction, build quality and USA electronics as the standard ES-335 model, but has a stripped down, no frills look; dot inlays, no neck binding and smooth satin lacquer finish. The 1960’s slim taper neck profile plays very fast while the ‘57 Classic humbucker pickups kick out every sweet cleans and searing distorted tones. Current MSRP is $3176. Specs:

This guitar is used but in excellent, near mint condition. No dings, no dents, no cracks, no nicks just very light finish scratches from normal handling/playing. Some light scratches on the face of the headstock from string ends (very light, visible in the picture above). The frets were dressed and the guitar was setup by reknown luthier John Carruthers - amazing playability. The neck is straight, truss rod works smoothly in both directions and the action is low with new 10-46 nickel roundwound strings. The original Gibson black, plush lined hardshell case is included and the guitar will be very well packed and fully insured.
