Info: You are bidding on the 1978 Gibson Grabber and hardshell case pictured. Serial number 71428121 should mean it is dated to May 19, 1978 constructed in Kalamazoo, Michgan. A sliding pickup model with a bolt on neck, this guitar is missing the decorative chrome bridge cover.
The fretboard/fingerboard has six small spots (three behind the fifth fret, three behind the seventh) where the finish has worn through to the wood, and the finish is worn from the second to the tenth fret on the back of the neck. The hardshell case is not original but it is solid and secure, a good tight fit.
Guitar is 9/10 really great shape. Only the most minor nicks or scratches. Plays like a big Gibson bass.
