Info: This is the first year, 1990, Gibson Tennessean, Chet Atkins model. Made in Tennessee. It is is great condition with the original case, owners manual, dealer papers, neck tool, and unused case lock, as seen in the picture. The plastic tab is still in place. It came from the original owner that put a bit of pro use and recorded on a R&B blues cd with it. Minor wear use is normal, overall excellent condition. The case is perfect and the paperwork, and tool are all original. The guitar has been set up with the Gibson BB King strings and plays and sounds beautiful. No flaws or issues here. This model is similar to the Country Gentleman with no whammy bar. It was from Chet’s departure from Gretsch during the last years of his life; and this guitar came from the shop that serviced Chet’s guitars and made his original nylon string model. This model is versitile for country, blues, jazz, rockabilly, and whatever, surf too. This one is a great example of a cool guitar and I need the dough or I’d keep it. I’ll have it meticulously packed and shipped properly.
