Welcome bidders, you are looking at a 2005 Gibson USA Custom Authentic ’59 Les Paul! Serial# 9 5640. This is the last release year before they changed over to VOS. The cool thing about Custom Authentic was the Custom Shop aged the covers and finish and gave them an almost ‘relic’ vibe! Everything else about the guitar is pure reissue! Non weight relieved mahogany back with a gorgeous figured maple top! The tone is HUGE with a great cut! The mahogany neck features a long neck tenon for added sustain and resonance! The long neck tenon also means the neck pickup actually ‘sits’ in the neck make for insane neck pickup tone! The Burstbucker pickups are a true testament to the original PAFs! Intentionally wound for mismatched coils- this is what made the orginal PAFs so good! The look of this is fantastic- the Custom Shop aging is very slight- a couple of small marks. The neck is straight and the frets are perfect! Weighs just 8.8 lbs! We have been a Gibson dealer for decades and have a full working knowledge of the entire line! 5. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 42″. If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International.
6. Flat-Rate shipping is for continental US only- all other territories will be calculated.
