Info:  Very nice condition 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom in faded cherry sunburst. Has rock maple neck! very rare. makes a solid playing instrument,stays in tune better than any mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard with  real mother of pearl block inlays. Minor fret ware evenly distributed.Cherry sunburst top back sides and neck.  serial number 06210976 in gold decal on headstock back. Additional decals say ” Mike Bunch Room”My guess is that was the original retailer.  It has the original Gibson ” Chain Saw” nylon plastic travel case with red plush interrior. The neck is straight with just  the right amount of   bow on the  bass side like you want. To keep the frets from rattling. Pickups show some tarnish wear and so does the stop tailpiece. Pots work fine as do pickups. For a 33 year old guitar this baby is in great shape for its age i give it a 8.6. There is some belt worming on the back and a sweated and filled with nitro gouge on the back (pictured.) One small dent in the back of neck was swelled and filled also so there is now no unevenness to be felt in the back of the neck. This area was about as big as a small clip off the side of a fingernail… swelled with steam and nitroed also. Sounds great. plays wonderfulmedium to thin neck profile and very aged binding especially on headstock. Has a small volute on back of headstock as was commonplacefor mid seventies instruments. This is the size of a small woman’s little fingernail. It has been filled again with Nitro and leveled, so it is not felt but upon close scrutiny it is visible.
