Info:  Up for auction is a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom with original hardshell case. This is in cherry sunburst and lemme tell ya’….This one got MOJO!!!! It has the fretless wonder low frets and is 100% there. The only thing we could find was 1: non original strap locks and 2: a tiny imperfection behind the E tuner where some light checking/cracking took place. This is a one owner female owned guitar. It smells of basement and bar and it has been well played and well loved. She bought it new in 73-74 and has owned it ever since. We set it up in 1/17/2010 and it sounds just amazing. Not too heavy and it plays like a dream. No issues we could find and we took it apart- every screw and tuner…you name it…it is there and original. All solder joints appear to be original as well. How many players from 35+ years ago do you find in this shape. Does it have it’s share of nicks and dings? you betcha!
