Info:  Hello! Here is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul John Sykes Inspired Guitar. This one was made on November 11th 2001, production number 203. Check out this link for verification. http://www.guitardaterproject.org/gibson.aspx. I have had this guitar for 5 years. I purchased it from a music store here in Milwaukee. It started out with all gold hardware. Like most people, I could not afford a John Sykes Custom Shop guitar, so hence I turned this guitar into one. It is the exact guitar that Sykes uses (less the price) the bridge and saddle are all Gibson tone pro’s hardware. The tuning pegs are Gibson rosebud nickle and stay in tune perfectly. The nut is original. At one time I had the dirty fingers pickup in her and it really sounded a lot more fizzy rather than delivering a nice distortion. It now has in the bridge a Seymour Duncan JB and a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck.  I use 10-52 gauged strings, combined with the  pickups, this thing is a tone machine!!!!!!!As expected with a 8 year old guitar there are distress marks on it. If pretty is your thing? Move on. If you want a guitar that will kick back at you 10 times harder than what you throw at it?
