You are looking at a beautiful - USA made 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar! The non chambered body of this LP really brings out the thicker sustained tones that made this model legendary.
If you are into lightweight flimsy guitars this is one not for you. Check out the gorgeous figured maple top-the front is excellent.
The neck is in excellent shape with clean frets and featured a profile somewhere in the middle of the 50s/60s profile- not too fat, not too thin.
It really plays wonderfully. The action is currently set up reasonably low for faster play.
As you may know Gibson changed from the 490R/498T pickups to Burstbuckers in this year.
We are not positive which model is installed, but we believe it is the first as the tone has a little more growl than most of the newer Standards.No BS - This guitar is one of the BEST looking AND Sounding Les Paul’s i have ever seen & heard!!! The original Gibson USA molded hardshell case is also included.
