This item is near mint condition. We have looked all over and we have found no major flaws at all. There are just s few places where we can see some signs of use, See the photos. They are VERY SMALL and VERY hard to find, so we are being a bit over crytical, but you expect us to be this way.
Over all I would give this a 9.75 out of 10…..Its that good.
Remeber this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, so bid bid bid.

Sorry everyone that was watching this auction before I ended it. I had thought I had sold another guitar and was keeping this but things changed! This will run the distance this time.
This is one of my all time favorite guitars “The Gibson Les Paul Historic, Custom Shop, 1957 Reissue Goldtop with the Dark Back.” Aged and in 1999 they came with the Gibson 57 reissue PAF humbuckers, which I personally like better that the Burstbuckers and Long Neck Tenon.

it is not in working condition. when plugged in it hums alot. sounds like could be a bad jack but not 100% sure so it is being sold as is.
this was refinished at one point in its life. the original color was red, you can see the color in the control cavity and in the neck pocket. the tuners were replaced at one point to schallers. i tried to take as many pics as possible but you can only upload so many to ebay. i can provide specific pictures to an email.
serial number is 248267.
please ask any and all questions. i am not sure what is original and what is not other than the tuners. just tell me what you are looking for and how to find it and i will be happy to do it.
i tried to take pics the best i could to show the aging on the body and the neck.

5-way switching. This guitar gets incredable tones with these pick
ups much like Stevie Rays did. It sounds
and plays great. I bought this only three months ago and it is in mint
condition. I hate to have to sell it but I must. I am only selling it
because I have to as I lost my job. The company I worked for went out
of business and closed up. I must raise some cash to help pay the bills
