Gibson Les Paul Studio electric guitar
Posted by brian in Stratocaster on August 23rd, 2010
some normal wear that could be buffed up with some elbow grease. I hate to
sell it but our baby is on the way and we need the room.
Gibson’s Description:From Studio Artist to Straight-on Rocker,
This Les Paulâ??s a Winner!
Crucial elements of the Les
Paul Studioâ??s design include the carved maple top and mahogany body,
glued-in mahogany neck with back-angled headstock, rosewood fingerboard
(ebony fingerboard with the Alpine White finish), Tune-o-matic bridge
and stopbar tailpiece â?? all design points that have been making Les
Pauls the most desirable tone monsters available since the late 1950s.
For electronics, a set of Gibsonâ??s 498T and 490R Alnico humbucking
pickups squeeze every drop of tone from the instrument.
With these classic ingredients, the Les Paul Studio gives you all the
sonic versatility you could ask for, from sultry, warm bluesy tones to
powerful crunch to sizzling lead tones. Finally, the Les Paul Studio is
supremely playable too, thanks to its rounded â??50s neck profile and a
chambered mahogany body that reduces the weight while enhancing
resonance, making it outstandingly comfortable strapped on or seated.
All this, and your Les Paul Studio comes protected in a formfitting
Gibson hardshell case, and covered by Gibsonâ??s famous Limited Lifetime
Warranty and 24/7/365 customer service. It could just be the bargain of
the decadeâ?¦ or the past three. Check one out now at your authorized
Gibson dealer.Body and Finish
A solid, carved maple top and chambered
mahogany body give the Les Paul Studio the same tonewood combination
that has been helping Les Paul Standards rock for nearly 60 years. And
each of its four available nitrocellulose finishes makes for a stunning
looking guitar, even while its no-frills approach eliminates body
binding and pickguard. Pickups and Electronics
The Les Paul Studio carries two of Gibsonâ??s
most popular humbucking pickups, a 498T in the bridge position and a
490R in the neck. Both are designed as updated renditions of Gibsonâ??s
famous PAF humbucker of the late â??50s and early â??60s, modified for
improved versatility, and routed through the classic Gibson four-knob
and three-way switch control section. Neck, Headstock and Fingerboard
The Les Paul Studio is crafted in classic
Gibson style with a glued-in neck made from solid quarter-sawn mahogany
and topped with an unbound rosewood fingerboard (an ebony fingerboard
with the Alpine White finish). It has an angled headstock for superior
resonance, and its rounded â??50s profile and 1-11/16â? wide Corian nut
help to make is supremely playable. Hardware
The hardware set on the Les Paul Studio
echoes that worn by Les Paul Standards since 1956, and includes Gibsonâ??s
hallowed Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and vintage-style
tuners. A classic of 20th century guitar design, the Tune-o-matic
provides excellent resonant coupling, while offering efficient
independent adjustment of each saddle for precise intonation. On Aug-18-10 at 05:33:39 PDT, seller added the following information: 1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio, wine red finish. It’s in great … Click For More Info

Good Luck, low start .
FEEDBACK —–5 STARS ARE NOW VERY IMPORTANT Ebay charge seller fees based on the star ratings I get. If my rating drops below 4.5 then I have to pay EXTRA FEES and THE PRICES WILL HAVE TO RISE. Anything less than 5 stars will lower our rating. 4 stars is not considered good enough by eBay!!!! Please leave 5 star ratings for Me. In return I will then leave you a positive feedback. If you are unhappy with the service you have had please email me, I will sort it out and try to improve. Thank you.
Please note -Important- Because of a few 0 feedback bidders winning my items and then coming up with lame excuses for not paying , I will no longer accept bids from people with less than 1 feedback score & their bids will be removed - It is a shame a few spoil it for the majority but I am sure you understand the cost and time wasting involved in this unecessary pointless exercise. Thanks for your understanding … Click For More Info

‘02 Gibson SG, faded cherry, *NO RESERVE*
Posted by brian in Stratocaster on August 20th, 2010
No issues, Neck is straight and true. This guitar is extremely easy to play. Perfect for a beginner yet many professional guitarist such as Carlos Santana, Angus Young and Derek Trucks use this type of guitar exclusively.
With No reserve this is a perfect opportunity for you to own and authentic, Made in USA, Gibson guitar. Good luck with the auction.
Tone pot for the neck has been replaced by a new 500K tone pot. Original acted up, so I had it replaced. Also note the wiring harness picture, there is blue shrink tubing on the pick up leads. The tubing for the bridge lead wire is there just for insulation from grounding, the tubing on the neck P’up lead wire is there because at one point I had a Seymour Duncan, Seth Lover P’up installed. With the reverse installation of the stock neck P’up, we needed to add about 2 inches of lead wire. So this tubing is here for the 2 inch splice as well as grounding installation. Please note that these are the original stock Pups. 490R and 498T, respectively.
Last but not least, I had this guitar up for auction last week and it sold to a knucklehead who resigned on his financial obligation and commitment to this sale. He was most likely just some ignorant kid, playing on the PC. He had zero feedback and I should have known better. So if you have zero feedback, you need to ask first to participate in this auction, or I will just delete you bidding. As well, anyone with under 5 positive feedback, please check with me as well. I know that everyone has to start at zero but it just takes the one time to put things in a talespin for me and I’m just trying to put some quality equipment back into circulation and a few bucks in my pocket.
With no reserve, this is perfect oppertunity to own an authentic, Made in the USA, Gibson guitar. Good luck with the auction. Shipping with Fedex home. Outside the Conus, check for shipping prices. All sales final, please ask and I will answer quick and true.
