NEW Gibson Reverse Flying V Guitar Limited Edition

NEW Gibson Reverse Flying V Guitar Limited Edition

Info:  Brand NEW Gibson Reverse V ….plays great and stays on your leg!!!!!Innovative. Groundbreaking. Daring. Revolutionary
Innovative, groundbreaking, daring, and revolutionary were the are the words most commonly used to describe Gibson’s legendary Flying V, first introduced in 1958. In 2007, when Gibson took it a step further with the bold and fearless Reverse Flying V, people couldn’t believe their eyes. Smart guitarists grabbed one while they could, nabbing one of the most popular and collectible Gibson electrics of the past 20 years. Now, in response to a popular demand that has increased ever since the original run, Gibson USA is proud to once again offer the Reverse Flying V, in a very limited edition.
This limited edition Reverse Flying V features a solid mahogany, V-shaped body, four-ply pickguard, Kluson-style green key tuners, and retro-style V-shaped gold tailpiece. The neck sports the traditional Flying V profile, a hybrid between the classic ’50s rounded contour and the popular ’60s slim-taper. The ebony fingerboard and gold-pasted truss rod cover round out this testament to Gibson’s bold and pioneering design tradition. With a pair of ’57 Classic humbuckers, for legendary vintage Gibson tone, the limited edition Reverse Flying V is available in Classic White, Ebony and Natural. Only 300 of each color will be produced. So act fast and take home this collectible classic while you can.
Tune-o-matic bridge
The Tune-o-matic bridge, also known as the ABR-1, was the brainchild of legendary Gibson president Ted McCarty in 1954. At the time, it was a true revelation in intonation, and set a standard for simplicity and functionality that has never been bettered. This pioneering piece of hardware provides a firm seating for the strings, allowing the player to adjust and fine-tune the intonation and string height in a matter of minutes. It also yields a great union between the strings and body, which results in excellent tone and sustain. It is combined with a separate “stopbar” tailpiece, essentially a modified version of the earlier wraparound bridge. To this day, the Tune-o-matic remains the industry standard. It is the epitome of form and function in electric guitar bridge design, and is one of the most revered and copied pieces of guitar hardware ever developed.
’57 Classic pickups
Gibson pickups have been setting the standard for the guitar industry since 1935 when the company introduced its first electric model, the E-150 Hawaiian lap steel. Add the pioneering introduction of the revolutionary double-coil “humbucking” pickup invented by Gibson’s own Seth Lover in 1957 and you can clearly see that Gibson has dramatically influenced the evolution of popular music in all genres, from the warm jazz tones of Charlie Christian, to the world-shaking rockabilly of Scotty Moore, and the crunching rock of Jimmy Page. The pickups in this limited edition Reverse Flying V are Gibson’s ’57 Classic humbuckers. With Alnico II magnets and balanced coils, these pickups deliver an unmistakable vintage vibe with warm, rich tone. They are carefully hand-wound at Gibson USA in Nashville, Tennessee.

Fender Toronado Electric Guitar Jaguar Jazzmaster

Fender Toronado Electric Guitar Jaguar Jazzmaster

Info:  Here for sale is an original 98 Fender Toronado Guitar With Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates & Seymour Duncan ’59 Pickups. The Pickups were professionally installed by a local shop. I removed the Atomic Humbuckers because I did not find their sound to my liking. I am only selling this because my girlfriend moved in and some of my stuff needs to go. This guitar sounds really good & plays really nice. The Pearly Gates sound amazing with distortion & the ’59 has great clean tone. The pictures do not do this guitar justice, the sunburst with that red tortoiseshell pickguard looks super nice. The 24.75″ Scale neck makes for some really hot high action.

The only real blemish on this guitar is up near the corner of the 3-way toggle switch, where a nick has been taken out. Not bad damage for a guitar that is now 11 years old. You can see the nick in Picture 5, it’s not bad at all. Shipping is 30 bucks and comes with a Fender Deluxe gig bag. Feel free to ask me any questions & good luck!!!!

Check out what other owners have to say about the Toronado:

Fender Vintage Hot Rod 57 Stratocaster – Upgraded

Fender Vintage Hot Rod 57 Stratocaster - Upgraded

Info:   You are bidding on an excellent condition Fender Vintage Hot Rod ’57 Stratocaster – upgraded with a Callaham bridge assembly (described below) and a 500 meg audio taper volume pot — a necessary upgrade to the SCN pickups and Dimarzio stacked humbucker for best tone
To increase a Stratocaster’s tone, many believe (I certainly do) that a milled solid steel bridge and block assembly, rather than a stamped and cast assembly (stock in most Strats), is necessary.  Callham’s bridge assemblies are considered one of the best.  I have replaced the original Fender bridge assembly with a Callaham bridge, saddles, tremolo block, and arm assembly.  The original (unused) Fender bridge assembly and arm will be included in the auction as well.  For those who are unfamiliar, please check out Callaham’s website and the guitar gear bulletin boards for information on Callaham’s milled steel bridge assemblies.
The tweed hard shell case is included as is all the original case candy.  If you want a new ’57 Hot Rod check out the price on Musicians Friend’s website — $2,159.99.  And that’s without the necessary upgrades!!The following is Fender’s description of the ’57 Hot Rod Stratocaster:
Fast neck, hot electronics, and thin-skin lacquer.
The wildest of all the American Vintage Hot Rod guitars, this retro custom axe starts with an American Vintage ’57 Stratocaster and ties together several generations of Strat customizations in one killer player’s instrument. It has a slim V neck profile with satin-finish back, 9.5″ fingerboard radius, and medium-jumbo frets to boost the playability. The souped-up electronics roar with Samarium Cobalt Noiseless guitar pickups at the neck and mid along with a DiMarzio Tone Zone pickup at the bridge, plus the second tone control is wired to the bridge pickup. A top-of-the-line thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives it the right look. The rest is true-blue ’57 Strat: comfort-contoured alder body, maple neck with vintage C profile, Fender/Gotoh vintage-style tuners, single-ply white pickguard, and chrome hardware. The U.S. Vintage Hot Rod Series from Fender creates new instruments but with looks, specs, and features that make them feel as if you were the third owner of a vintage instrument. Here’s your chance to own that beautiful player’s electric guitar but in brand new shape and freshly set up from the Fender factory!
Fender American Vintage Hot Rod ’57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar Features:

Thin-skin nitrocellulose finish

Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Neck Electric Guitar La…

Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s Neck Electric Guitar La...

Info:  This is a new 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s Neck Electric Guitar that comes with case, strap lock, and booklet. Burnin’ Burstbucker Pro pickups with a sleek neck and classic head. The Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s Neck is an electric guitar that is famous for its sustain. The feel and sound of the original ’60s Les Paul comes from a slim ’60s neck design with a smaller peghead, push-in-bushing green tuning keys, and nickel hardware. BurstBucker Pro pickups feature Alnico V magnets like those used in the P-90s from the ’50s. One coil has more wraps than the other, as did most ’50s and early ’60s “Patent Applied For”s. These waxed, double-potted pickups deliver a tighter, balanced, biting tone with more midrange. Mahogany body and neck with maple top and rosewood fretboard. Includes Gibson hardshell case. Gibson Les Paul Standard ’60s Neck Electric Guitar – Features: Mahogany body and slim ’60s neck Maple top Rosewood fretboard BurstBucker Pro with Alnico V humbucker pickups and fretboard binding As you can see on the last picture of this guitar, there is one small flaw on the top side. I think it is from a strap rubbing while when someone was trying it out. I also think it can be buffed out. I just have not had time to look at it. No other issues and plays great. 1997 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar with case

1997 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar with case

Info:  Here is a 1997 Gibson SG Standard for sale.  I’ve owned this guitar for 10 years and selling only because I need money to buy a house and because I bought a new Angus SG. I loved playing this guitar, I’ve recorded many songs with it.  It’s got two ’57 humbucker pickups on it which sound amazing for metal, punk, rock, and everything else.  In fact, I prefer the ’57 humbucker over any other Gibson pickup.  I’ve set the action as low as possible without buzzing or pinching and adjusted the truss rod for 10 gauge strings.  The guitar comes with 10 gauge Thomastik-Infeld power bright strings which cost around $13.  I replaced the tuners on this guitar with authentic gibson deluxe tuners because the old ones were going out of tune too often. Otherwise this guitar is totally original. I’m including the original case, original Guitar Center sales tag, gibson product check list, truss rod wrench, and the original tuners (see photo).  Cosmetically this guitar has small scratches and dents on pickguard and the rest of the guitar.  This guitar has been used for rockin’ many a time and it is not in mint condition.  However the guitar is still very clean, shiny, and ready for more serious rockin!  Please check out my photos for guitar condition.  I know more about this guitar than my 9 others so please email me any questions you might have.  If you are in the Sacramento area you can pickup up this item and not pay shipping fees. On Mar-24-09 at 20:40:24 PDT, seller added the following information:Interested bidder noticed that ’57 humbucker classics are not stock on Gibson SG standards.  They are correct and I should have noticed this.  I’m the second owner of the guitar.  The original owner from 1997-2000 must have switched out 490t and 498r pickups with 57s.  Therefore the pickups and tuners are not original, but are genuine Gibson USA products … Click For More Info

2006 Gibson Flying V with Angus Young Humbucker!!!!!

2006 Gibson Flying V with Angus Young Humbucker!!!!!

Info:   This guitar has seen plenty of action and has never let me down but unfortunately need some money for college.  This is a 2006 Gibson faded cherry flying V.  But this thing is far from stock it is loaded with a Gibson Angus Young humbucker in the bridge that absolutely is brilliant.  Is heavy enough for metal  but as one would suspect just does the rock n roll thing better than any pickup out there.  I have ernie ball beefy strings on this which are a match made in heaven for this guitar. Has the usual belt marks on the back which I tried to show in the picture but no huge major cosmetic problems that would cause the guitar to play poorly.  Here are the featuresGibson Faded Flying V Features:
