Fender 65 Pre-CBS Jaguar
I had this Guitar for years. I had stripped all the electronics off of it because it was noisy. I kept the parts in storage and they rusted on me. So I have replaced them with new. I did not replace the top switches, they could be added easy enough. I know itâ??s not worth as much as it would be if it had the original electronic parts, but itâ??s still worth what Iâ??m asking. Iâ??ve seen them for up to $15,000 in mint condition.
This guitar plays well and sounds great. I have used it to record with. If you would like to here it I could send you an mp3. It has a few scratches. The back has wear from a worn belt. I think thatâ??s what makes it so cool looking. If this picture is not good enough I will e-mail you some better ones.

The Fender Jaguar is an electric guitar which was introduced in 1962. Whether the designers of the Jaguar had intended the instrument to be used for Surf music or if it was a further attempt to break into the Jazz guitar market (as was the case with its predecessor the Jazzmaster) remains a topic of dispute among Jaguar aficionados. Nevertheless, the Jaguar quickly caught on in the emerging surf music scene, joining the Jazzmaster, Mosrite and Stratocaster as the guitars most associated with the style. They both became popular again in the 1990s when they were used by a number of indie rock bands.

2005 FENDER JAGUAR SPECIAL HH CIJ MIJ JAPAN JGS-75 BLK
This is a positive twist on the CLASSIC FENDER JAGUAR.
The special edition black-and-chrome Jaguar HH guitar adds a few modern touchesâ??a pair of Dragsterâ?¢ humbucking pickups, most notablyâ??to the classic design style and functionality of a vintage Fender Jaguar. Other features include an alder body, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, traditionally distinctive Jaguar controls, vintage-style tuning machines and an Adjusto-maticâ?¢ bridge with anchored tailpiece.
This guitar is in exceptional condition. All original and complete. The back of the neck is perfectly SMOOOOOTH. The frets and finger board look NEW! The back has very light impressions. The top of the the guitar is also VERY NICE with a couple of marks above the pickguard, too light to show in a picture. Absolutely no damage or abuse. No scratchy pots. I have completely serviced the guitar… cleaned and polished the body and neck, cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard, cleaned the controls, adjusted the intonation, installed new strings, etc. She is READY to PLAY and PLAY and PLAY!!!
Crafted in Japan, with serial number R0763xx. You can find more info about the guitar and its original retail on the Fender website. Model JGS-75 (BLK). It comes with the original deluxe gig bag, case.
The last picture is for show and tell. First is this guitar. Next is a true reliced and trashed 1965 pre CBS, made in USA. Then a 1984-87 made in Japan 1966 reissue for sale now, so look at my other listings. Last is my favorite, a Vista series Jagmaster hotrodded with a Paul Reed Smith bass pickup in the neck and a dimarzio at the bridge (with coil taps). SWEET, Sweet, sweet!!!

Up for auction is a very rare Candy Red with matching headstock 2002 Fender Jaguar Made in Japan. It has a few nicks and light scratches here and there. It has a few deep dings pictured, one on the back of the neck and a couple others in the body on the back and side. Frets and fret board are in great shape!! Comes with a Fender well padded gigbag. Sold AS/IS no return.

It’s all original and 100% complete along with its original hardshell case and all its original case candy. It’s in NEAR MINT condition with only one tiny surface ding.
