Gibson SG Standard w/OHSC 1999 Heritage Cherry

Gibson SG Standard w/OHSC 1999 Heritage Cherry

Info:  This is my 1999 Gibson SG Standard guitar. It has led a pampered existence. I am the original owner. It’s only been out of the house maybe a dozen times. I don’t know how anyone would ever be able to tell that it’s not new.
The only signs of wear are extremely minor. There is no buckle rash, gashes, dents, or gouges. Nothing like that. The only thing that comes close at all is represented in the picture just above the nut where I there is some superficial wear from where this guitar hung on a wall mount holder. The intonation is excellect. Everything is in perfect working order.
Only reason I’m selling it is because I’ve acquired many other guitars. This was my first “real” guitar and it was what I thought I wanted at the time. My tastes have changed and this particular guitar has gone virtually unplayed for about two years now.
It includes the original hard shell case, also in very good condition.
I’ve provided pictures to the best of my photographic ability but if you’d like to see something in particular just shoot me a message and let me know.
Now all the ugly stuff that seems to have become necessary: No international sales. Don’t even ask – you’ll be lucky if I reply and if I do it’ll probably be rude because I made a special point of saying no International sales here. If you’ve got negative feedback it may raise some questions and affect the sale. If you bid and don’t follow through I’ll pursue every legitimate remedy available to me as an eBay and/or PayPal customer. Seriously, let’s not make this harder than it needs to be.
Thanks for looking!

Info:
LETS HAVE SOME FUN AND ROCK AND ROLL!1989 (pots read 1378905) Gibson Les Paul Pre Historic standard 1959 Reissue. We never see these anymore. This one is in excellent condition and comes with original hardshell case. Hoboken Vintage Click For Phone   Guitar has factory Zebra stamped patent number Humbuckers  I have just put the original covers and guard on this guitar and added the pictures. It looks great!!!!! The frets are original and are in fine shape. The guitar has no issues. No breaks or repairs or changed parts. I am starting this auction at $9.99 with no reserve. No returns on no reserve auctions. Please, no zero feedback bidders. Your bid will be cancelled.  Any screwing around on this auction and it will be cancelled. That means no bid retractions to see where the last bidder is at. Any bid retraction will cause me to end the auction. Bid retractions and bids by zero feedback bidders are just not fair to the rest of the ebay community. OK? Local pickup is fine but 7% tax will be charged for local pickup or New Jersey purchasers. It is the law. Don’t ask me to break it. And please, no inane questions, like “Why are you doing this?” or “Why are you selling it?” or “What’s wrong with  it?” (nothing) or “Don’t you know you can lose money like this?.” We will not respond to stupid or ridicculous questions/obsevations. Your e-mail we be purged forever into the internet’s black hole. Check out our 3600 plus positive feedbacks on high end guitars, amps and pedals. We know what we’re doing. I will not end the auction early.  Thanks.

We often get asked: Why are shipping costs so high? Well, first of all, we want you to get your guitar in one piece. So we use NEW boxes ($10 each) and new packing peanuts and bubblewrap. I also have an employee who packs guitars and amps like the pro that he is. Also, fuel prices have gone up alot, and UPS has passed this cost on to us.We also insure our items against loss or breakage. OK?
Overseas bidders: here’s the deal. You MAY bid.  However, you must follow the rules of my auction. Please do NOT ask me to adjust the price so you can avoid paying import/VAT taxes.  I will NOT break the law.  Do not even think of asking me to declare a $4000 guitar for $600. No exceptions. Also, you will pay actual shipping prices via UPS ONLY. It’s expensive, around $300 because of rising fuel costs. I DO NOT ship United States Postal service. They have lost our last guitar.  I insure our guitars for full price, to protect both of us if the guitar is lost or broken in transit.  We love our Europeon customers, but please don’t ask us to break the law.  With the U.S. dollar at 1.35/Euro, you’re getting a deal already. … Click For More Info

Gibson SG Special 1996

Gibson SG Special 1996

Info:  I have a Gibson SG Special black made in 1996 at the Nashville, TN plant, production number 118. I bought it in 1996 from a Guitar Center. I have been playing shows since and finally got a Les Paul so I don’t need this one around the house anymore. The guitar has many dings and dents from the road. It has many pick scrapes around the top of the pickguard. I haven’t checked the electronics in over a year. It’s been sitting in its case in the closet. This was a $900 guitar, so it would be a good deal for someone that wants great sound and amazing guitar for cheap price. The case is in good condition and some scratches on the outside of it. The inside has two of three holding straps for the silk top.On Apr-06-09 at 21:11:04 PDT, seller added the following information:As of 04/06/09, I went to a buddies house to check the pickups and electronics on the guitar. It completely works. All switches and dials. It still sounds awesome. So happy bidding. On Apr-10-09 at 18:59:23 PDT, seller added the following information:I have gotten lots of questions about the dings and stuff. The dings are really only cosmetic nothing that will hinder the guitar in playing anyway. The neck is straight and the frets are in good condition with only a couple of dips here and there. The dips wont sour a note. … Click For More Info

Gibson Les Paul Pre historic 1983 3-D Flame maple Top

Gibson Les Paul Pre historic 1983 3-D Flame maple Top

Info:  This auction is for a 1983 Gibson Pre Historic Les Paul ReIssue.
This guitar is in spectacular condition and 100% original. It shows only very minor play wear. No cracks, no scratches, no repairs, no refinishing. This guitar still looks new and has no tarnish or pitting on the nickel parts. Was a one owner, under the bed guitar that was never played out and spent most of the time in its case. It has an unusual amber top finish and a highly figured 3D book matched flame maple top. All solder joints are original and unmolested. This guitar has original Tim Shaw pick ups. The bridge pick up has the ink stamp number 13868 indicating a June production date. It has double white coils and measures 7.31K. The neck pick up also bears a faded illegible ink stamp number. It’s double black and measures 7.39K. The covers on both pick ups have never been removed. Both pick ups have a stamped patent number of 2737842.
Inside the neck pick up cavity inked under the finish are the letters HDSB and stamped Made In USA.
According to the Vintage Guitar Magazine article in 2004 by Mike Slubowski, Gibson finally released a Les Paul ReIssue model. For whatever reason, they were careful not to call it a ’59 reissue. The ReIssue was an immediate hit with LP lovers, since it had features that were closer to the ’59 such as thin binding on the cutaway, nickel hardware, ABR-1 bridge, vintage style knobs, and highly figured tops. None of the reissues had a long neck tenon. The serial number configuration is Y XXXX with the first number representing the year it was manufactured. These guitars vary in weight with the lightest at 8 lbs. 9 oz. and the heaviest at 10 lbs. 8oz.
This guitar is light weight, weighing about 9 lbs. on my bathroom scale. The pot codes show as 1378313 on two and 137830X on the other two (the last number is covered by solder). The serial number is 3 01XX which is inked on the back of the headstock under the finish. The last two numbers have been obscured in the photos for security purposes. A new hardshell case is included.
Shipping is $45 to the CONTINENTAL USA only. I will not accept offers from anywhere outside of the CONTINENTAL USA. Item will be professionally packed very well. I accept Paypal. I will ship item once payment has cleared. You are welcome to pick up the item but you must pay the Pennsylvania Sales Tax of 6%.
Thank you and good luck!

Gibson Les Paul 2004 ’59 re-issue with amazing top

Gibson Les Paul 2004 '59 re-issue with amazing top

Info:   Up for auction is one 2004 Gibson Les Paul Historic R-9 with one of the best tops I have seen in years! it has a medium neck not too big (Baseball) and not too small, in my opinion just right. The weight is in between 8.5 and 9 and the tone and resonance is amazing. This guitar is a special one with a sound and look that is magazine quality. It was used on an album in the studio so there are a few slight play wear indents on the side as seen in the picture but overall its in excellent condition with creamy tone for days! I’m playing strats now and it’s a shame to just let this one sit in a case. everything is stock and it comes with all COA and original case as it did when it was new. I am the original owner. Shipping is free in the USA and you will not be disappointed with this guitar… Thanks for looking and good luck. … Click For More Info

1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Tobacco Sunburst

1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Tobacco Sunburst

Info:  Up for auction is a beautiful 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom in desirable Tobacco Sunburst. Everyting is original on the guitar from the pots to the pickups to the hardware. NO breaks, NO cracks, NO repairs – just an excellent example of a late 70′s Gibson tone monster. Both pickups have tremendous output and sound incredible. Sustain forever on this solid 1 piece mahogany body and 3 piece maple top.  I actually had to convince myself that this was a 3 piece top as the pieces are so well matched it looks like a 1 piece top.  Really rare for gibson to be that careful on tops from that period.  Someone must have had a “Good Night” the night before this top was selected – it is that well done. The weight on this guitar is probably close to 11 lbs.
Only detractions on this guitar are:

Normal play-wear on the side of the neck
Two areas on the back of the neck where the finish has worn most likely from leaning against something (like a guitar stand) for a period of time
Other than those 2 issues this guitar looks like it left the showroom only a few years ago. The finish on the hardware is in way better shape then 95% of other LP Customs from the late 70′s and there is NO buckle rash, and only minor worming on the back. Maybe 1 or 2 small dings but you would have to look hard to notice.  The headstock is by far the cleanest one I have ever seen on a vintage 70′s LP custom and I have owned many! Great buy it now price and low reserve so jump on this while you can!
Check my feedback.  I have sold many high-end guitars on eBay with 100% customer satisfaction.  And unlike many other dealers I have no problem shipping to our European friends, just email me before bidding so I can send you additional terms and extra shipping costs.

On Apr-06-09 at 18:23:18 PDT, seller added the following information:My apologies to our European brethern, but it seems I neglected to allow you to bid on the guitar when I set up the auction.  Evidently I am not allowed to modify the auction to allow European and Australian bidders after receiving the first bid.  If you would like the guitar I suggest you go to the GBASE link in the auction and click on the guitar there and send me an email about the guitar and it could be purchased that way. I don’t want to solicit outside of this auction, but the guitar is for sale that way anyway.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  … Click For More Info

2008 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Chambered FLAME

2008 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Chambered FLAME

Info:
YES, NO RESERVE< STARTING BID OF $1!!! Bid away and have fun!
This is a 2008 Gibson Custom SHop 1958 Historic Les Paul Lightly figured (flametop) Chambered (no longer made!!!) in Faded Tobacco VOS finish. You can see the real nice fat curly flame top, one of the best 58 Lightly figured guitars Gibson made. This baby feels great with a weight of only 7 3/4 lbs and nice FAT neck.
Too bad, Gibson doesn’t make this 58 LP version any more (Online stores were selling these for $3499 or more and well worth it). I actually prefer these chambered ones not only for the lighter weight, but the sound is much more tonal than the regular standard version. The strings just ring with tone and sustain. Love it!!!
Guitar and original black tolex case are in MINT unused/unplayed condition and the case candy and certificate are there.

Auction winner pays bid plus UPS ground, fully insured for $50 shipping if east of Mississippi, $55 if mid-west, and $60 if west coast in continental USA via paypal. Other locations pay based on final destination and service requested. International bidders REMEMBER shipping is very expensive ( I usually use USPS Global Express which hits around $150. However, some countries have size restrictions which the guitar box exceeds, so the Airmail Prioity service is next to use, but it takes longer, but is cheaper. Global Express has complete online tracking whereas Airmail Priority does not. It can be tracked via the insurance tag by USPS if needed). If you don’t want to claim the full value (because you don’t want to pay taxes), then I can’t insure it properly. Also, some countries have limited insurance by USPS (like max of $500), so be aware of the details. Thanks.

Gibson Slash Gold Top Les Paul Limited 1000

Gibson Slash Gold Top Les Paul Limited 1000

Info:   I bought this new from Guitar Center.  It has less than an hour play time on it because I have a lot of guitars and work a lot. If you are looking at this, you probably already know that they only made 1000 of these and unlike the tobacco (which I also have) these are factory Pleked. Here is the Gibson link: http://www.gibson.com/Slash/Gibson%20USA/Slash-Les-Paul-Goldtop/I will ship to the lower 48 only. No International bids please. Please contact me immediately after auction if you don’t plan on using PayPal immediately. Payment required within 3 business days. The new Slash Signature Goldtop from Gibson USA â?? limited to just 1,000 guitars worldwide
â?? is a heartfelt tribute to Slash and one of his most beloved guitars.
With Slash offering his valuable input, Gibson USA has been able to
build one of its legendary Goldtops with all the individual features
and unique characteristics that arouse Slashâ??s creative and musical
instincts. The new Slash Signature Goldtop from Gibson USA
starts with a standard, un-chambered mahogany body with Gibsonâ??s
traditional weight relief system, consisting of a series of â??Swiss
cheese holes that give it a comfortable yet heavy feel, exactly as
Slash likes his Les Pauls. The body is topped by one of the Les Paulâ??s
trademark features â?? a hand-carved maple top. The body is then painted
with the same finish as the first Les Paul model in 1952 â?? Bullion Gold
with an aged Cherry back. A pair of Seymour Duncan Alnico II
pickups â?? exactly the same pickups Slash uses on many of his guitars â??
provides all the power, punch and performance expected of a Slash Les
Paul. The Slash-designed neck is a solid piece of mahogany with a
hybrid profile that takes the roundness of the Les Paul necks of the
