Fender Jazzmaster (’62 American Vintage Re-Issue)[used]

Fender Jazzmaster ('62 American Vintage Re-Issue)[used]

Info:  Howdy! This is used Fender AVRI (American Vintage Re-Issue) Jazzmaster is an amazing deal, I’ve upgraded the stock saddles to Graphtech ($50 upgrade), but aside from that, it is entirely original. The neck is superstraight and the action is very nice, and well the legendary sound, it’s all there! It comes with the vintage-style cable and tremolo arm, the paperwork I’ve lost or thrown away since I got it. The guitar itself is in great shape, there are minimal marks along the side of the body, tiny chips that are entirely superficial and very minor scuffs on the pickguard. (I gigged with it, always meticulously!)Needless to say, I am letting it go for a VERY good price, especially considering Fender’s recent price increase (American Jazzmasters go for something like $1900 these days). You can buy this guitar for less than what Fender is asking for their inferior Mexico/Japan counterparts (nice guitars, but not 100% true to the original Jazzmasters). Also, if you’ve noticed, an incredible amount of guitarists are playing Jazzies lately, definitely a plus!Ultimately my loss, no doubt about it. My only rea; reason is that I have a Telecaster and well, I’ve always been a Tele player! …It is unjustified at this point, so I am selling it with hopes that someone will play the merry hell out of it!Did I mention FREE SHIPPING? :)Click For More Info

Fender Telecaster 52 Vintage Hot Rod

Fender Telecaster 52 Vintage Hot Rod

Info:  2008 USA  Fender Telecaster 52 Vintage Hot Rod!!I am the original owner of this guitar which was purchased new in October 2008. It has never left my smoke-free apartment, never gigged, and treated very gently. There are some very light swirl marks on pickguard from normal use and when I received the guitar the strap pegs were a bit loose, so I replaced screws –nice and snug now.Guitar is in near-new condition, perfect working condition. Neck is just perfect (really my favorite guitar neck I’ve played!) and guitar resonates very nicely when played acoustically. I don’t know exact weight but it is pretty light. Just an all-around kick-ass guitar. The only reason I am selling is that I’m having a custom guitar built and actually the specs will be very similar to the Hot Rod — it is that good. Comes with Tweed hard-shell case and case candy. These sell NEW for  $2160!! So save some $$$ and get a like-new guitar!Paypal and Con USA sales only on this one. 1966

MODEL  II

This is a great vintage guitar that came to me from the original owner. He stated that he purchased it new in 1966.The serial number is 671*** and that seems to match his story within a year either way. There are NO condition issues other than normal wear besides the volume knob being replaced with an old Framus knob that I had on hand.It is a close match and you probably would not have noticed but I thought that I should mention it.There are NO cracks, breaks or repairs to this guitar. The neck is straight, the trussrod works, the frets show some wear in the first postion but are in good shape. The strings are set reasonably low and it has just been set up with a set of light Ernie Ball 10-46 strings. It plays and sounds great. The guitar has been lightly cleaned but may use a more detailed cleaning if you are picky. The guitar has light wear throughout to the paint  including small dings and some deeper finish checking that seems to show up more on European guitars. The blue color is very attractive and shows some light greening. The neck has some finish flaking on the back mainly behind the 3rd fret or so.This is very common on these old Hagstroms.Play it regularly and it will get that vintage Strat or Tele look on the back of the neck. The On/Off slider switch tends to stay on most of the time even when slid to the off postion. All the other electronics and switches work the way that they should.Overall,it is in nice shape. It came to me in a chipboard case that could not be saved. So,I am selling it in a generic gigbag that provides basic protection.Again, this is a hard one to find in this Daphne blue color and condition. It has great tones and a lightly reliced vibe.

Fender Rosewood Telecaster Vintage MIJ 1985 tele guitar

Fender Rosewood Telecaster Vintage MIJ 1985 tele guitar

Info:   Mint unbelievable condition 1985 Fender Rosewood Telecaster, Made in Japan. Possibly played 15-20 hours as seen by minimal pickguard pick marks. Just taking the pics was too exciting !! No marks anywhere, no oxidation, not even any fretwear. Has original case and Ashtray cover. These are really rare and hard to find let alone in this condition. Sound is really a rich organic tele sound due to age of wood and pickups. All wood is rosewood. Neck & headstock are one piece & have regular C tele shape. Body is 3 piece but hard to really see where ends meet. Has a thin sandwich layer of maple binding in middle which really helps set off the Rosewood. Not very heavy, about 9 lbs, maybe a little less.Due to being 80’s, rosewood was most likely of higher quality than what is available today due to gov’t limits on wood harvesting. Hardware is all nickel including 6 individual saddles. Finish is flawless as with most MIJ fenders. Do not confuse this with cheap Mexican reissues (veneer, not solid) or Custom shop models, this is an original. It is currently setup with pretty low action & set of DR pure blues 10-46. Looks like the one George Harrison played in the 1969 Let it Be video on the rooftop. These reissues were made from 1985-1987 and this one dates to 1985 (s#A063068). Will ship insured UPS ground for $55 Eastern US & $85 West. Please wait for my invoice before paying. USA bids only, paypal or e check only. Less than 5 feedback, email me before bidding. On Apr-09-09 at 18:38:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Note:there is a small crack in the finish behind the tone knob where the screw goes into the body about 1/4″ long and would not come out in the pics. It is 1985 model so its possible that this also is due to the age of the material. Not what I consider a problem just wanted to be up front about all details.Ill try and take a pic of it for serious buyers that want me to email it as I cant add any more pics. … Click For More Info

Fender Squier Vintage Telecaster Thinline w/ UPGRADES

Fender Squier Vintage Telecaster Thinline w/ UPGRADES

Info:  This guitar is in outstanding shape. I’ve seriously upgraded it with a set of aged-cover Fender Tex Mex pickups just like they use in their new Road Worn series — these are a big improvement over the crappy Squier pickups. I’ve also upgraded the wiring with vintage-style cloth covered wire, full-size Alpha pots, and a smooth-sounding poly-film tone cap. I also replaced the crappy original switch with a vintage-style 3-way US-made Oak Grigsby switch. Finally, I switched out the pickguard for a vintage-style MINT GREEN one (it doesn’t show up that well in the photos but looks very cool in person and especially on stage). The frets on this guitar feel very nice and the body is very resonant — this is a good one! The 24-3/4″ scale adds just a hint of Gibson to the sound and makes playing leads just a little easier. Sometimes you just have too many guitars though and have to let a few go… I am including a heavy-duty Fender branded gig bag with this guitar.

Sorry but I do not ship outside the US and only accept Paypal for payment, no exceptions. Any other questions, just ask! This guitar will be carefully packed for shipping in a box designed specifically for shipping guitars. Local pickup is also available on this item.

Please check my other listings for my hand-built guitar pedals and my feedback for past satisfied customers! On Apr-06-09 at 13:33:49 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE: in the bright light of day I just noticed that there is a small chip in the paint on the bottom narrow edge of the guitar. It’s too small to take a good picture of, just a couple millimeters, but it is there. … Click For More Info

FENDER AMERICAN VINTAGE ‘52 TELECASTER

FENDER AMERICAN VINTAGE '52 TELECASTER

Info:  Here is my 2006 Fender American Vintage ‘52 Telecaster with all the factory goodies and case. As you can see from the pictures, it is in near mint condition. It comes with all that factory wiring diagrams, bridge cover(never used), additional bridge plate, registration (still blank), instructions for various adjustments, Fender cleaning kit (unopened), and Fender factory Vintage reproduction grey cable. The made in USA sticker and manufacturer decal are still on the neck plate. This model came with the wiring instructions to make it modern, I opted for the 60 bucks of RS Guitarworks Telecaster upgrade. It is installed presently, and the volume roll off and tone pot character will blow you away. The original wiring, pots, switch, and jack are in the case and come with the auction. The case itself is mint in and out. If it weren’t for my newly acquired 1973 blonde Fender Telecaster, it would still be in the closet. The action is low and nice, the body is resonant, and with the pot and switch upgrade, you would be hard pressed to find a better playing, sounding, and looking guitar. Check my feeback, you will receive your guitar packed well, and in a timely manner. Thanks for looking … Click For More Info

Fender 1974 Telecaster Body w/ Vintage B-Bender!

Fender 1974 Telecaster Body w/ Vintage B-Bender!

Info:  Here it is folks.  A super 1974 Telecaster body already fitted with the famous Parson-White Pull String (the original name, later called the B-Bender).  The first 112 benders that Gene Parsons built had serial numbers.  This one is #112!  Go to www.stringbender.com for history and information about Gene, Clarence White and the whole deal.  If you send your Tele to Gene, it will cost about $985 (totally worth it!) to install this great invention.  Plus, I sent this guitar about 8 years ago so Gene could tune it up.  He sent it back and maybe just lubricated it, said it was fine, built to last.  An historic piece of art.  Also on this body you’ll find the “Vintique” brand bridgeplate with a special slot behind the B string saddle for the string to move without interference.  This bridge was designed by Jay Monterose and Danny Gatton.  For more info go to www.vintique.com.  The black finish appears to be the original poly black finish with a few touch ups.  The pickguard is not original.
Note: The 50’s neck that I had up for auction (sold) was on this body when I bought it in ‘76.  For more than 33 years it was married to this body.
God I hate to let this go!
Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding as there is no return or refund policy.  I have represented this to the best of my ability and knowledge.
PayPal Preferred  If you like, I will certainly accommodate alternative methods of payment.  Please e-mail me before bidding.
No International bidding
There was a buyer mistake on the last auction so here we go again.
