This guitar got damaged in shippingThe tone knob got pushed into the body and ended up breaking the pickguard. The top of the 3-way switch is also broken (still works correctly however). It has a finish chip on lower bout and a tiny chip near the input jack. We plugged it into an amp to check the electronics, all seems to work correctly. The guitar tunes and plays in present condition. We think the neck should have a slight adjustment (SET-UP) to eliminate minor string buzz that is real common with a BRAND NEW guitar that has not been SET-UP yet.
No other damage to guitar, only small signs of use like finger smudges and scuff marks. This guitar HAS NOT been marked with a stamp that indicates …USED, BLEM, “B”, 2nd, etc. No case included Chiming, jangle-pop tone with vintage vibe, value and versatility.Built on the Fender® ’69 Telecaster platform, the semi-hollow Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline features a rosewood fingerboard, Duncan Designed™ Telecaster pickups, chrome knurled knobs, a parchment pickguard, vintage six-saddle bridge and three-way switching. The distinctive f-hole design and semi-acoustic construction come together for a unique, jangle-pop vibe at an amazing price. This guitar also has a vintage 6-saddle bridge, allowing for more control over intonation. From The Byrds to early R.E.M. to now, America loves jangle pop, and this is the perfect guitar for this, power pop or any style. The shorter 24-3/4″ scale length makes note bending easier.
Vintage Modified! Players from beginner to intermediate and beyond have done it for years—whether installing hotter pickups, alternate pickguards, or just plain personalizing their instruments with fancy paint jobs, modified means adding new twists to a familiar design. Squier’s Vintage Modified Telecaster Thinline guitar features a semi-hollow body with a distinctive f-hole and classic Tele® tone from two Duncan Designed™ Telecaster pickups.

Please note- This is a 1976 US made Fender Telecaster body with a 1972 US made Fender Telecaster neck.
The neck had a three bolt design- while the body is a 4 bolt design. The neck was changed to the 4 bolt by a
luthier so that the neck and body fit well together. Guitar plays well and the fit is expertly done.
I am not positive on the color. I was told it was walnut- but it could be a custom color.

Fender American Vintage 52 Telecaster w/ Barden Pickups
Posted by brian in Telecaster on March 28th, 2009
Fender 52 Tele w/ Joe Barden pickups
DESCRIPTION
Fender American Vintage Series ’52 Telecaster w/ Joe Barden Pickups
Get the Fender American Vintage ’52 Telecaster Electric Guitar and you’ll be using it at most of your gigs. All original specs are adhered to in this faithful reissue, including neck shape, fingerboard radius, hardware and electronics although the pickups have been tastefully upgraded. Features include the original Tele bridge, premium ash body, and a tinted maple neck.
The Joe Barden Danny Gatton T-Style pickups installed in this tele essentially make this into a Danny Gatton Telecaster without the high price. Joe Bardens are often described as vintage in nature with much higher fidelity and better balance. Also noteworthy is how much more useful the neck pickup is than a standard “mushy” sounding neck pickup. The original pickups are not included in the auction.
The longest-running production models in Fenderâ??s history, the Telecaster guitar has been modified only slightly in its more than 50 legendary years, with its great strength inherent in its classic simplicity.
This pre-owned Fender American Vintage ’52 Telecaster is in excellent condition. It shows little if any wear. It will come in a heavy duty Fender molded hardshell case. It has seen little playing time whatsoever. The frets and neck are excellent, the Butterscotch Blonde finish is excellent, and the electronics and hardware are fully functional and like new in every way. Furthermore, this guitar is 100% guaranteed to arrive in the aforementioned condition to the winner of this auction. This is a money-back guarantee, so bid in complete confidence.
