Fender Fat Strat Stratocaster Mexican MIM 2000

Fender Fat Strat Stratocaster Mexican MIM 2000

Info:  This is a Fender Fat Strat (not a Squire) with serial number MZ0013323, indicating a 2000 build date.  Made in Mexico.  It is used but well cared for.  The overall condition is quite nice as can be seen in the pictures.  It was mostly played at my church so it did not face a lot of abuse.  There are some belt buckle marks visible on the back of the large horn and one ding on the front of the large horn which can be seen well in the close up picture of that horn.  The frets are in good shape as well as the neck with very few marks or wear.  Some of the screws and pots on the pickups show slight rust, but that would be expected on a 9 year old guitar.  It comes with a good condition hard case as pictured.  It is missing the trem arm but those can be replaced for around ten dollars.  The guitar has a standard bridge humbucker and middle and neck single coils.  This arrangement allows for the guitar to dial in many different sounds using the 5way selector switch.  I recently moved to a smaller home and simply don’t have the space for all my guitars.  This was my first guitar and has since been replaced by several that I like more.  I just can’t justify keeping a guitar that I don’t use anymore.  It has all chrome hardware and a dark blue color that in the right light will appear almost purple.  The pictures show the color to be somewhat lighter than it actually is.  The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard.  Will only ship to U.S. lower 48 states. … Click For More Info
